OK, we shipped out Giovinco, and now Camoranesi and Diego are reported to be on their way out too. So, where is the offensive creativity supposed to come from? Pepe and Lanzafame are not exactly the world class players Juventus has been used to for the last 100 years.

Del Piero can't play all games next season, he doesn't have the stamina to do so. Unless Martinez steps up this will be a nightmare season without Diego.
Nobody is playing all the games next season but if Diego is being sold and Dzeko is signed I want Del Piero to play next to him instead of Amauri, Iaquinta or Martinez. I've always said DP shouldn't play regularly but since Marotta and Del Neri are sending out players like Seba, Camo and Diego then Del Piero is the last player of the creative kind on our team and he should therefor play.

Is Amauri going to score from all those perfect crosses and start actually putting his shots on target? Is DP, Trez and IQ all going to stay injury free? Is Krasic going to be a massive success like you are lusting him to be? Do you have all the answers?
Well, at least Amauri will have service and Diego giving him great passes into open spaces to give him greater chances. ADP is NOT going to be in every single game this season, he doesn't have that kind of stamina, so it makes no sense to get rid of our playmaker.

Again, how is Dzeko going to score?

Exactly my point, the only good player to partner Dzeko would be Del Piero, and he won't be there all games all season long, so the alternative would be Martinez. That's why I said this season would be madness without Diego.

Well, those are the positions in greater need of reinforcement, so yeah. Agnelli's shitty vanity signing like Dzeko, is out of reach and can only be acquired by selling our best playmaker. It's kinda like having a car with no engine, and then selling the car to get the engine.

You didn't answer my questions, but thanks for trying.

Dzeko is going to score the same way he always does...own his own, crosses, one two's, counters, corners, FK's, PK's, hell he might even take on 3-4 defenders on his own, I wouldn't put it past him he has done it before. That should more than answer your question.

He has score over 40 goals in 2 seasons and if you watch them all of them (not even half) are from crosses.

Oh come on, I know he score from distribution from wingers but its kinda far-fetched to say he will be useless without proper wingers. He seems to be doing just fine at Wolfsburg.

Give a little more credit to Motta and Pepe for the right side. Pepe isn't a worldbeater but he isn't that bad either. We are still looking to sign a better winger anyways so its not as bad as many are making it sound.

Like that. Because Dzeko can actually control a ball unlike Amauri/Iaquinta. Dzeko, for the most part, has been partnered with Grafite... who isn't exactly Antonio Cassano.

You can go back and forth over the pros and cons of keeping Diego and loosing Diego and getting Dzeko a hundred times but at the end of the day Dzeko poops on every single one of our strikers right now.

I'm not in favour of selling Diego but you look at it in a simplistic way
most of the teams don't have a player like Diego in their team but still they can be succesful
if we are going to play a 4-4-2 then most of the creativity will have to come from our flanks so their won't be much need for Diego
personaly I would favour a 4-2-3-1 with Diego as a central attacking midfielder and alternate him with DP and thus change it to a 4-4-2 if needed
that might ofcourse give us problems to put either one of them on the bench but I would take the chance

:agree: without any creative players, any striker would be useless.

Yeah, it doesn't.

I'm kinda open to this idea of selling Diego. What do you think, man?
I don't mind selling diego , Although 2 weeks ago I would have been as I was debating between a diego and marchisio jersey and i bought a marchisio. So I got lucky?

Well, we'll have to disagree then. You think Amauri is garbage, I don't. You think Dzeko is some sort of super player that can score like a machine, I don't, I think he'll need proper teammates and service in order to score them.

What happens when any player gets injured?

They don't play? Is this a trick question or something?

You can say that about any player though. What happens when Diego gets injured again this season? Because he got injured last season.
