Marotta so far has been mediocre in his transfers, but selling Diego would be a mistake not even Secco would make. What kind of retarded manager can't have a talent like Diego in his team? Good trainers fit the players available to a system, not the other way around.

Great line, Didn't Mourinho make Eto'o play out of position in his 4-2-3-1. I thought Millito was the lone striker. Yet Eto'o functioned quite well.

I think Marotta has misunderstood Wolfsburg. Hoeness must've arrived at the Juve headquarters and pointed at Diego's picture, but due to the squint, Marotta must've looked at Martinez and thought, that's who they're cracking a deal for. Obviously 16m sounded good to him. No wonder, they're in advanced talks.

Well, I am far from certain that Diego is a perfect fit for our current system (or what we believe that current system is going to be) to begin with. So if we do think about replacing Diego, then that doesn't necessarily mean going for a similar player.

Oh, and I left out the rest of your quote because you're obviously a VDV fanboy ;)

Fair point and I agree actually, though when going forward it'll be somewhat like a 4-2-3-1. Meh, I was simply replying to someone who suggested VDV on that page, leave me alone!

And yes, I'm a VDV fanboy, and I'm proud of it.
