I think Diego fits more to the German football than the Italian. If we get decent price for him and buy a player that can contribute well in the attack then i'm fine with that.
We need a good winger and a bomber. I don't like Pepe at all. Give me winger+ Pazzini for example and it's fine by me. We can play Del Piero as seconda punta, and also Martinez and Lanzafame (I think Martinez's original role in Catania was a forward and not a winger). We can count on those three for the second striker role, but with Del neri's system of 4-4-2 with 2 CM and 2 wingers we gotta make sure that we have the right wingers and at least one lethal, consistent scorer. I can't say that on Amauri\Iaq\Trez.

Alright, if this is true, then those who called us crackpots and pessimists for thinking Diego might be sold owe us an apology. The evidence has always pointed to Diego being on the market if the right offer came, which was what Marotta said.

Well, Dzeko isn't either. But in a time of REBUILDING it's pretty stupid to get rid of Juventus most creative player, i'm not a Diego fan myself and i wouldn't mind seeing him gone in order to bring other players, but with the current state of the team, Dzeko isn't one of those players.

At times around here it seems like I'm back in my U-8 playing days, asking to play midfield when all the other kids demand to play striker.
