He isn't a necessity, no need to pay so much for a player that would be luxury. Where would you field him with Nedved, Camoranesi, Del Piero, Tiago and Almiron in the team?

In the case of Camoranesi or especially Nedved leaving, we could go after Diego. Which would probably be the case next season.
