no its not that i'm naive or that i dont understand this is all publicity issues to raise the price tag on diego or vdv. i am just annoyed at us juventus fans for being frustrated and desperate the way we r about players. its like we find it hard to believe that we can sign a world class player. this is juventus!! we r not manchester city, newcastle, lyon, roma, or chelsea!! ew have history, we had massive amounts of glory so really we dont need players who prefer any other team than us to play for. i go annoyed bec diego kept on saying he would prefer going to madrid, fine go why should we be pissed poff or annoyed tough luck for him. the same applies to vdv, ibrahimovic, viera and all the rest.
see there is the problem. he probably never said that. and you all keep bashing secco for not sealing the deal, but NO ONE, not the media, not u, not me knows how its going to end. I don't believe it but maybe he has already found an agreement and he is ours?! (I seriously don't believe that at all, but we all do NOT know)

Even if all the articles are bullshit regarding where Diego himself wants to play your still forgetting one thing.. We just can't compete with Madrid in terms of transfer funds and we dont need an endless amount of speculative articles to tell us that, those who think we can compete with Madrid are just flat out dreaming

I dont think so, Diego would command a starting spot at Madrid and Schuster is a massive fan of his, which is how this rumour started in the first place.. I dont think Diego would be scared of the competition at madrid for one second
Diego will be in the starting 11 with madrid nodoubt. But once he loses his form (its likely to happen just like his porto days) madrid will through him out of the window. The club got lots of $$ so once a player in underperforming they will look for a replacement for him the next season (its that simple for them). Juve on the other hand will be Patience (specially when we invest lots of cash on a certain player) , he will develop with juve more and will become bitter and if he's really want to develop and be bitter as a player juve is the right place for him :rulz: .....

But then u close the door on Giovinco...Doesn't look good... I would like for both to play in Juve, but to many "fantazistas" on the pitch....hmmmm:confused:

i don't think it necessarily closes the door on Giovinco. Diego is a central midfielder, i know he is more of a AM but i am convinced that he could play deeper and perform brilliantly.

On the other hand, Gio would be great on the LM in Nedveds role.

So you could have a midfield of:

Camoranesi-----Diego-------Sissoko-----Giovinco

i know it looks very attacking but Diego isn't as bad defensively as some people suggest and if we built a strong enough defence it could work.

You are way OFFF... He is natural trequartista, and so is Giovinco...they are 2 years appart....so yes we would be closeing door on Seba...

But if u made this formation

Marchisio - Sissoko

Camo - Diego - Giovinco

I'll se ok then....

i know he is a trequarista, but i am saying he would perform well in CM making forward runs provided he has a good DM next to him. obviously he would be better as an AM but he could still be very effective here due to his passing range and runs.

Seba often plays on the wide left drifting in similar to Nedved

IMO any formation in which David is left up front by himself will be unsuccessful

agreed..if we want trez, then he needs his support striker. I'm all for a lone striker, but then sell trez, buy a player like huntelaar and start him upfront.

Diego is fairly slow so if he plays behind that lone striker, we would need a pacey player like giovinco and even someone like Mancini on the flanks.

------sissoko---zanetti----

mancini---diego-----giovinco

something like that would work well and we would be more dynamic.

-----------buffon

grygera zapata chiellini dossena

camo----sissoko---hamsik

----------diego

---trez--------giovinco

that is what i would play if trez remained at the club.

we did that this season and looked what happened. Nocerino(joke) criscito not good enough yet palla is sucking and i dont even want to talk about molinaro.
Exactly. Don't get me wrong, i'm all IN FAVOUR of taking back giovinco (maybe de ceglie, marchisio, etc) BUT, don't think that they'll win us the CL in their first season. They are talented, gifted, have skill, but the lack of experience and the lack of "juventus-style" playing just makes them not as strong as many of you would like to see them. I do believe in giovinco for example, but imo, those people who think he will start every game next season, and give 5 assists and 2 goals per game are just wrong. He will have his good games as well as his bad games. That's just what you have to deal with,if you don't want to loan out a player until he's more constant. There's no way you can compare the likes of marchisio/giovinco with a diego (at this moment!!!), barring the fact that they we don't have a playmaker loaned out atm (I consider giovinco not as offensive, resp more on the side).
