I don't understand this mentality. Good players don't have to play in biggest teams in the world, so you can admit that they're good. It doesn't work that way. Just because Mesut plays for Real Madrid and Arda plays in Atletico, it doesn't make Mesut better than Arda.

Real Madrid have Carvalho and Pepe as of their centre-defenders but I can name at least 10 better defenders who plays in other teams that are better than Pepe and Carvalho.

What are you going to say? Pepe and Carvalho are better because they play at R.Madrid?

Is Carvalho better than Chiellini? Because Carvalho plays in Real Madrid who's semi-finalist in CL of last year and Chiellini plays in a team that finished 7th in Seria A.

Look with regards to Arda he has no visibility in the Turkish league. Ozil does. Until then we can't judge, but his Euro performance 4 years ago didn't leave me very satisfied in the pants.

Pepe isn't that good. He's too clumsy to be a great centre-defender. He can get red card in any minute.

Pique, Ferdinand, Puyol, Vidic, Lucio, Chiellini, Alex, Samuel, Nesta, Criscito, Chivu, Terry, Kompany, Kjaer, Toure, David Luiz, Subotic.

You can disagree with 2, 3 or more. It doesn't change the fact that big teams don't always have best players.

I just don't accept the fact when someone says "Player A plays for Madrid, therefore he's better than Player B in Valencia" or so on.

If anybody came here last year and say, "Is Owen better than Hernandez?" Everybody would say, "Of course, Owen played at Liverpool and Real Madrid and now plays for Manchester United, hell yeah he's better than Hernandez who plays for Guadalajara from Mexico."

But we all saw what happened last year. Owen was Hernandez's sub.
