If hes a failure, at least he's only gonna cost us no more than 4million, chump change compared to the flops like Tiago and Amauri and all the other Secco signings.

You've seen him a lot? Turk (from Turkey, lol) also says he's not that good but most people rate him highly.
Seen couple a times in the CL, seen so many time with his NT, i don't say he's not good, he's definetly better than Bonnucci at this stage and will help Chiellini a lot . But i was just explaining the price tag set on him.
He's 31 year old defender playing in Turkey, that's how much he should cost.

Well he is the captain of Uruguay and after World Cup and Copa America, every Uruguayan seems like a good deal.
That doesn't tell me much about him as a player though.

But you said "he's not a very good player" :D

We're buying him for an amount that Amauri and Toni get paid yearly. Amazing what you can do with money, when you spend it wisely. :sergio:

As much as I think Lugano would be a very good signing for Juve, it's not because I think he's a particularly great player.

However, he can bring organisation and stability to a defence that has looked chaotic ever since Chiellini and Legrottaglie stopped playing together.

Legrottaglie wasn't a great player, but he was a very good partner for Chiellini, so Juve had a pretty good defence then.

As an individual, Lugano isn't anything close to being a top CB.
