kicking Grosso and Tiago out is big deal itself ...
and using them in the deal with Forlan would be good transfer for us !

we need this kind of players wright now ...

can you guys just imagin what Diego and Forlan could do in our team ??

even if he is 30 yrs old .. we can't spend 40 mil on Dzico whil our team need 3-4 more players !!
so consedering on that i would sy YES to Forlan if we gona bring 3 - 4 more players ..

We dont need g great forward we need a great finisher. In spain strikers get far more scoring chances than they get in the average league. Also speed and tehnique are appreciate more than everything else, this create the ideal conditions for south American talents to flourish.
But in Italy things are very different, strikers get far less chances to score and have to be extra prolific and Italian coaches demand less flips and more dìscipline on the demanding tactical orders. Forlan in EPL has been proved inefficient on that department imo and althought he has matured to quality forward, he will surely wont be able to make the difference in Italy and offer what Amauri cant. We need a dedicated finisher like Treze to complete Amauri and help us with our finishing issues.
Forlan is an very clinical striker. I dont know what you are talking about.

8-10 goals in 2 years in England is not clinical. Right now he is working under optimal condition, in Italy its even tougher to score, than the epl...
Thats what i m talking about. I saw him losing far too many occasions to consider him prolific now and he only have 2 decent years left so a flop in the first year would be the end of his carrier in Italy...

If we are to get rid of Tiago and/or, spend less than 15mil for forlan and buy krasic a CB and starter LB, whilst avoiding spending money on crappy Italian forwards like quaq and Pazzini, then forlan is welcomed to give a try in Italy!
But we should not at any case spend any more than12mil cash on him, or a useful player that must be recovered.

very short term thinking if this transfer does get done. after his WC performances his value has increased a lot so the pricetag is about right, regardless of his age....and that is always the problem with WCs, players who stand out more get sold afterwards for shitloads more than they would before the WC.

Nonetheless, Forlan is a classy player who has proven his worth...wouldnt exactly be crying if he joined..especially if Dzeko went elsewhere and we were looking at the likes of Amauri or IQ to start.
