If Diego does end up coming, which seems very likely...then I'm obviously still going to support him and wish him the best. If anything, he can give a major morale boost to the team who will view him as a big signing....something we haven't had in a long time. And hopefully it won't impact Giovinco's playing time as badly as we think it will. I'm hoping that he'll at least play more than he did this year.

If the Diego deal does collapse though, I can't see this management being able to pull off another "big" signing. It would be better for Giovinco...but worse for the team since we'd probably waste another 12 million or so on another mediocre player.

I see Diego coinciding perfectly with Giovinco in the same lineup. I am more worried about Diego not coming than I am about Gio playing should Diego come.
