ok, I'll take this one back to the transfer section and make a new one but open it on the day we see him in a Juve shirt on Juventus.com. ;)

Pretty much my opinion too. There's no way he's safe after all the meetings and uproar. I suspect the reason Buffon stated that he's staying, especially after discussions with Elkann (if that isn't a big hint) and Blanc, is because in those discussions it was disclosed to him that there would be a new coach, and new outlook next season.

Thing is, they don't want to forfeit the last three games by having either a confirmed lameduck coach, or a caretaker coach. Nor do they want to parachute someone in half-cocked. They may not have their man yet, and frankly, all the rumored names have big question marks too. They may want to see who gets booted from other clubs before making a call.

Hence, the statements that neither commit to Ranieri, or outright dismiss him.

He's done. He pretty obviously pissed off the ownership, his players, and probably even the management.

To bring it back to Diego, its totally clear he's not a Ranieri player. Ranieri wouldn't change his formation for Giovinco, its doubtful he would for Diego. Everyone is just being professional.

I sent Diego SMS today because I felt that I needed someone by my-side after I found out that Badass deleted me from his Facebook. Here's what I wrote to Diego..

"Good evening sunshine, I hear tomorrow you're going to be officially represented in Turin as Juventus player. Finally. I have a problem and therefore I have no one to rely on but you...I'm asking you kindly to ask badass to reconsider me as a friend of him and add me again on Facebook. I know he's the rope between you and Moggi, therefore please ask him to reconsider me"
    :lol2:

It's good that we finally manged to sign someone who we wanted from the beggining. Secco did good job it seems.

Still I have doubts over Diego, somehow I'm afraid that he will choke/underperform call it whatever you want. Plus we all have big expectations from him like he's gonna be our saviour in midfield. I really hope that I'm wrong and that Diego will provide us some great stuff.

You sure that I should get the honour to do that?
Let Badass have his (brief) moment of glory by allowing him to do the honours.

Why is it that folk put a positive spin on what he did at Chelsea, but everything he did with Juve has been terrible? (RED)

he did a decent job at Chelsea, signing and incorporating into the starting XI several of the players who remain the backbone of the team...Interestingly, he had the respect of that chelsea team, and the fans, though not the owner...which seems almost in complete opposition to Ranieri's situation, as it has panned out, at Juve...he has the continued support of his boss, despite our worst run of serie A form for a decade, and the fans and players dont respect him.

Why has he failed at Juve?

He is too cautious to manage a team so accustomed to winning and never accepting even a draw, without heavy regret. Buffon, DP, Trez, Nedved...these players are Winners, and would not take kindly to a manager telling the press that he is happy for a draw with Lecce or Reggina. Yes, it may show integrity, for Ranieri to praise other teams to take points from us, but he is not employed to promote his own virtues as an individual, he is employed to win football matches and to progress the club.

When a player like Giovinco is shut out the team because of our old champs are more...more what exactly??? more old??? less fast??? more established????...the Gio situation is a prime example of Why i want to see Ranieri leave. He is our future, but Ranieri doesn't rate him, or lacks the ability, as a manager, to find a place for the youngster...this isn't a youngster like Ariuado, or De Ceglie, or Iago, or Daud...who has shown promise...this is a youngster who is not so young anymore, who could sign for another top club if he chose to...a player who has consistently shown that he has more spark and invention than ANYONE ELSE in our team...Thankfully, we have Diego now, but he is similar to Giovinco...which is a worry if Ranieri is in charge come next august.

I am hopeful that the majority of you folks are correct when assuming the gigli is 'supporting' Ranieri and saying things like ;'Ranieri is prepared to change tactics'...solely in order to avoid a mad upheaval and the possiblity of losing 3rd place, with only 3 games left to play...But isnt there a presidential election to be run soon??? So Gigli, and others could GO...who decides on Blanc, Secco and the manager role????The president????
I pray for Lapo...the mischevous fiend with the elf hair and name.

Given more time at Chelsea, I don't think its certain that he would not have equalled Mourinho's record there. but at Juve, he has been a failure...last season, we did well, but i think much of our relative success was down to rage...anger built up in many of our players after our demotion...without the rage, and with older legs, this season has seen our manager unable to bring through the player we have with the highest potential for greatness.

he has also omitted Trezeguet after their dispute...Preferring Iaquinta...

The only positive news other than diego's signing, is Buffon saying he is happy to stay..That in itself offers me hope that he knows Ranieri is OUT...because Buffon does not like him, nor the team he puts out. And nobody can disagree with Santo Buffon...

Please, people...convince me that Ranieri is OUT...make my day a happer passage to tomorrow.
