Its not just this game, my 2nd game of seeing him was against Inter, dire game, but he rang rings around the Inter midfield with his solo runs. Very strong and good on the ball, as antares said, nothing short of fouling him to take the ball from him.

Promising box to box mid for sure.

Haven't seen enough of Kjaer and Subotic to judge. If they're as good as I've heard they are, then they'd be in between Marquez and Santacroce.

I think that was a one-off. He's usually very good with the ball at his feet.

But as far as I know, Zapata's injury was a cheekbone fracturation or something similar. It's not like this kind of injury should have affected him. If his not-so-good performances are due to match fitness then again he has been playing about 11 matches in a row now. So I don't get it.
