Nobody watched La Domenica Sportiva yesterday. Ranieri was a guest and he doesn't want him at all. Said he's only good behind the strikers. We're looking for a winger, not a playmaker.

that's the problem. we should change the system, not because of diego. it's so boring and predictable.

If that winger is Ribery, fine by me.

But in general, I am mostly interested in changing ze coach to take the next step with this team.

Ribery will be impossible. If he went on the market we would surely be outbid by real, barca, chelski, manure, etc....I'd bet the milans would go for it too. Finacially I don't see how we could table a competitive offer, but I'm up for suggestions if any of u have some!

I'd be up for a winger over diego if we could get a center mid that is more threatening from his passing capabilities/vision. That is one of the main reasons that I'd like diego so much is we can't count on sissoko playing those killer balls, or poulsen/zanetti being fit long enough, with tiago who knows, and marchisio will need more time to develope into that role.

If gio somehow ever ends up in the starting lineup he is going to need all the support he can get behind him. Either he will be extremely effective in opeing up play or his size will hurt us slightly that it will be a 'small' liability that he will be losing the ball as he gets muscled off the ball too easily. In that event we need to hope he either draws fouls a lot or won't lose the ball often and should that fail it would be nice to have 4 strong mids behind him. If we opt for the same formation then I hope we get a much better RB that can attack stronger than what we have but also be stronger defensively.

I have a feeling that the winger that will get to replace nedved would be Malouda...Looks like he's not wanted in chelsea anymore and doubt many top clubs will be running after him next summer. Seems like the kind of players that our board are interested in.
