Amauri!
Poulsen!
Poulsen isn't even an average signing, he is always injured and when fit he is nothing special, to make matters worst we overpaid him rather than signing him this summer for free.

As for Amauri, even a two years old kid can buy you Amauri with that amount of cash we offered. Hell even Ribery was bought from Marseille with a similar figures.

Poulsen is not supposed to be something special...he has a role in the team and I believe he can fulfill it very well...but you're right he has also been unfortunate with injuries, but who hasn't this season? we will surely see a lot more of him next year...and as for Amauri, the guy was in serious deman by other top clubs and has shown he is a world class player, so if we can't credit the BoD for that, then I don't know what else I can say

Diego’s agent has reiterated that “with Juventus he aims to become one of the best players in the world. We’ve made our choice, now it’s up to the clubs.”

The Brazilian bagged a brace in the 3-3 draw against Udinese on Thursday to send Werder Bremen through to the UEFA Cup semi-final despite struggling with a thigh injury.

“Did you see what he did at the Stadio Friuli when he was only 30 per cent fit? I will let you imagine what he can do when he’s at his best,” smiled his agent and father on Tuttosport newspaper.

I have already confirmed that with Juventus he aims to become one of the best players in the world. He wants to win many important trophies.

Next week there should be a meeting between [Juve director of sport Alessio] Secco and [his Werder Bremen counterpart] Allofs.

We have already made our choice, now it’s up to the clubs to reach an agreement.”
Diego has repeatedly stated he wants to join the Bianconeri, but negotiations between the two clubs are still at breaking point with a £20m fee for the 24-year-old.

If those quotes are true, surely we have him in the bag now. Unless his father has a history of playing such cruel games when scoping around for the highest bidder for both his services and his sons. That is possible I suppose, but if true, this is tremendous news for the club. By far the biggest signing we have made since...Nedved. And this lad is young. With staggering potential...From what I have seen, he could become of the greatest players in the world, and if he does that whilst wearing a Juve shirt, I will be extremely happy.

I saw Diego against Udinese and I liked him, aside from his ability to play as an attacking midfielder right behind the strikers, i also find he can play right smack in the middle of the team as a CM, he plays for the team and with the team, he pops up everywhere upfront and he scores vital goes, he's also very technical, only thing we shouldn't try to get him to start doing is defending (that bit of skill makes our players aggressive, plus they get unnecessary cards-reminds me of Nedved in 2003 against Real-HURTS!) - i think Diego's going to be exceptional.
