Like 4-3-3, winged-forward, you know? Like what Iaquinta does sometimes. I just see him getting eaten alive in the middle, whereas on the wing, he can use his speed and agility to weave past a couple defenders and make an opportunity.

Oh, I'm agree with you on that
It's a pretty good idea

e: but with Ranieri on the bench... I highly doubt that he would change the system

Hahaha, that's the ideal way. Sometimes I recover my hope, you know :D

Anyway, I still think Gio should play like a second striker coming from the center. I'm pretty sure he would be more comfortable in that way
I agree, he would be far more comfortable there, and with Del Piero growing more haggard with every passing game, surely next season, we will see Giovinco starting more games as a second striker, and then we will see what he is truly capable of producing, in a more favourable position...

I really don't see what the problem is with Diego
you guys keep stating that he would take the place of Gio or DP
they can perfectly play together and besides don't we all want a better Juve?
Diego is a classy player who would make us better
so what's the problem, if he's better then DP or Gio then he should play it's as simple as that
I like Gio and DP but I'm a Juve fan above all
if we win without any of them that"s just fine by me

Who was the last decent player in Bundesliga being transferred to a non-German club whilst Bayern missing out on? Barring Emerson, Bayern has always grasped the stars of other teams in Bundesliga (i.e. Ballack, Ze Roberto, Klose, Pizarro, Frings, Borowski, Deisler, Hamit Altintop, etc). They've never wanted the likes of Metzelder, van der Vaart or D'Alessandro who appeared to be flops at the end. I like Diego and I want to see him at Juve, but why aren't Bayern interested in him?

'cos it will look like money squandered on yet another attacking option, whilst the defence is looking more and more suspect by the day

cos it doesnt suit their sustem and game plan at all
bayern totally relies on the wings nowdays
lahm, lell, ribery, sweinsteiger(sp.) and they also have the big center forwards in toni and klose, that is one of the reasons podolski plays better for NT than bayern
diego doesnt make sense and doesnt fit, their central mids are defensive mids, ze roberto, van bommel, borowski

they have been very solid, rather successful and creative with ribery and bastian
on the other hand we need more creativity and possibly a change of formation/system

But with Diego on the middle and Silva on the left flank... but that means bye-bye to Giovinco. Unless, he take Del Piero position. Anyway, I think Giovinco should play like a second striker coming from the center, like Zola did in his better years
Diego and Silva would cost too much even if we'd sell Gigi I'd pay big bucks for players at other positions. Give Gio his chance and he'll use it to his advantage.

Lets say we get Diego, bring back Criscito, buy NO forwards, possibly a RM backup....who else could we afford for the defense? (still have Ariaudo)

Thats true if we don't play our usual 442, i didnt think of that. I would just prefer a RB if anything and try the likes of Criscito/Ariaudo with our other two backups being legro and iceberg.

i really want diego, we need just a hint of more creative spark to open up the amauri/trezegol floodgates.

De Jong and Kompany are the most recent good players I can think of.

And can Bayern afford the type of fee Bremen are wanting just now? Are Bremen determined to sell Diego abroad?

can't we just go to Uli Hoeness and say we will kindly leave Diego for you to get on the cheap if you sell us Ribery for a reasonable cost. :D

Only problem Uli Hoeness is not a reasonable man

De Jong and Kompany aren't good enough for big teams though. That was the whole point.
