According to some sources it seems that we have reached an agreement with Diego.

They say numbers are already known.His first season he'd get 3.8mln but it'd raise up to 4.8 eventually.

I've talked about this like 15 times already.

It's not really stupid because we shouldn't be bound with 4-4-2 and the need of buying some tipical AML player of Nedved's style.

Our right position is very weak and I don't think we should rely with 4-4-2 next season unless we have money to buy someone to play instead of Marchionni.If we can't we should focus our buged on Cassano,Diego and Co. and play 4-3-1-2/4-3-2-1 because that way we'd also save money to buy some good defender(s).

A big problem of course is that there is no player with Nedved's characteristics. Also, there are no really stand-out AMLs so the best could probably be Silva and even he hasn't been tested on the big stage. Thus a change in formation is likely.

No,that's not true.

Xabi was supposed to come but they didn't get Barry and it canceled the deal.Poulsen was meant to be Tiago's replacement but we failed to sell him in the last minutes so we ended up with both of them.

Maybe he's right if he meant that but if we had a chance I'm sure he'd be wearing our jersey at the moment.I'm sure he (Ranieri) wouldn't say no to that transfer.

Also,Poulsen's transfer doesn't have to do anything with him.We were supposed to sell Tiago for 7mln euros or so and Poulsen was one of the players we wanted to replace him.We failed to sell Tiago while we already made an agreement with Poulsen.

i don't think that will happen. diego is neither a striker nor a wide midfielder. he plays best in the central offensive midfield behind two strikers.
