Mirko-Drogba-Suarez as @baggio mentioned earlier is fap fap indeed! we will have the most hated by oppositions front line up in serie A, with classy players in mid and defense with a Superman at the goal! now that is a team!

$#@! drogba, too old and takes too much space in the lockerroom
Do you realize how much better we would be with Drogba upfront? It would be amazing! He is a beast in the box and would bully defenders in Serie A so much. I would love if he came here. He is 34 but he is in fantastic shape. Did u see his work rate in the champions league? Having Drogba would give us a shot at actually getting out of the group stages and doing something in the CL

Drogba is the exact opposite of Giovinco, character wise of course. When Giovinco totally lacks character Drogba is all about character. If he really goes to China he will be sorely missed, on my all time favourite players.

Why is this still open? It ain't happening, I'm telling you now.

And despite Drogba playing well this season, a lot can happen over the summer. I reckon this season was his last great push in Europe, he will fade away and no one will remember him until he announces his retirement from the game.

I dont think he will fade away man, he turned 34 a few months back . He has alot of quality and strength even if he did not play every game, to have a weapon like him at the club would be immense. He is also better conditioned then most center forwards, regardless of his current age. I would rather a 34 year old Drogba then Matri or Borriello. If a player is properly conditioned they can play a long time and be very effective.

As for this being an unlikely signing, that is probably true. But that does not stop us from discussing players like RVP and Higuain!

Too old. Only scored 5 league goals this season. Major diver...worse than CR7. We need to be more ambitious. Would only consider taking this guy if he played for peanuts. Many better options out there.

Agreed, we need experienced Players, young players don't always work example arsenal. Drogba is a beast he's fit as hell and at age 38 never mind 34 he will still put out more then Matri Borriello combined. The man has a presence not many CF can boast. Yes he dives and yes it bugs me but he is exactly the type to get you a goal when needed. Using age as an excuse to not sign h is ridiculous since some said Pirlo was finished, if anything it's his wage demands that would bother not age.

Oh I didn't mean we won't get him coz of his age, I just meant he won't be coming here because I don't see him playing for another European team....especially in England, unless the price is right of course :p

And with RVP and Higuain, they aren't happening either :p and I don't see Cavani coming...

i doubt he will put in the work, or are motivated to play on the highest level anymore. 34 is quite old, and his wages and cost would be very high, and most likely not worth it imo.

i know his contribution in the final was vital, and he won it for chelsea. but he scored 5 goals in 24 matches this year, hardly impressive stats.

he would be our new amauri, toni or iaquinta

Do you realise he is the only close to world class CF who would allow us to save a lot of money and massively invest that in a new RWF like Suarez which no other scenario would allow? Unless Marrotta can pull a loan deal for Dzeko, Higuain or Van Persie, which are all unlikely scenarios. He sure as he'll can't pull a loan for Suarez coz Pool being out of CL and cash strapped will need some kind of liquidity and therefore outright sale. Also, Drogba is the type of player built for the Italian game, and he would thrive here in ways people cant imagine. That said, even at 34 years of age he would be a huge threat on big European nights that the club might be expecting to have this coming season. It's potentially a superb deal for everybody involved and the best two year fix imaginable. Especially considering it will allow us to sort out the equally big RWF slot.

What were Pirlo's stats the last 3 years? I don't think it's that he lacks quality but it's a question of environment and motivation because Didier is a top drawer, big match player. He would be far more than the new Amauri. Far more.

Objectively.. Would our team be better with Drogba? - Yes
Does the fact his transfer would not involve a high transfer fee mean we can pay him better? - Yes
Would he rape defenders in Serie A? - Yes, look at what Zlatan does.
Does signing him mean we wont sign any more stars? - No, in fact bringing Drogba might convince someone like RVP to join as well.

Most people would want Drogba at their team. Pretty much all the Chelsea team were begging him to stay.

Also how on earth was that bullet of a header lucky? Drogba is the best header of the ball i have seen since Batistuta. I dont think luck has to do with it.

chelsea was lucky bc they got outplayed for 87 min, and scored on their first corner. the header was nice, but still lucky that in "landed" on drogbas head.

did he score more than 5 goals in epl this year? no
subjectivly would our team be better with drogba? no

i dont see what zlatan has to do with drogba, as they are wastly different players.

i dont like the thought of spending alot of money and time on a 34y player.
