I'm 100% with you on that one.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Deschamps, he was an exceptional player at Juventus and I hold him dear and everything, but I doubt his abilities as a coach. Next year we'll see if he has got what it takes. I'm not calling for his head yet.
Same here Jem
Im not against DD, just questioning his tactics...
We all wana see a competitive Juve in A, other than good players we need a good coach which DD hasnt proved yet (at least to me) !

I dont want to turn this into a transfer thread, but what players can DD realistically get in the summer?Other than the two we've already signed ofcourse.

Barzagli is the only one that im pretty hopeful about as yet tbh.Im not even sure about Klose.

Word
As was mentioned here before, we'll be humiliated in serie A :agree:
I wouldn't go this far, am just pointing out some mistakes he does and hoping that he would realise them as well to improve in the near future.

If he takes us back to serieA then we should stick with him, i think sacking him when we get back would be shooting ourselves in the foot.

Just look at Torino

I dont hate Barcelona. Actually I dont care about them at all. I am a Juventus fan and I care just about Juve. I am just fed up with people like m_elayyan who call themselves Juventus fans and all they do is talk shit and criticise Juve in every post.

And let's not go off topic now. Mods sorry about this discussion.

I am against changing coach after a short time (even 1 year is a short time), but it seems he isnt learning from his mistakes...
Also what I cant understand is why doesnt he use his all substitutions?!!! especially when we are struggling!!!

since we didnt have a stable time then i wouldn't think that he has time to think about his mistakes from before. The circumstances around him are very tough since the beginning of the season. So we will need to have a more stable period so we can critique his tactics.

But the subs and selection is a mistake he does very often.

I beleive DD is an average coach at this point. I wouldn't want to change him unless Lippi decided to return. Although he is a bit too adventurous in attack for my liking I still appreciate him not changing the way Juve play. His main downfall is his poor use of substitutes and as our depth increases so will this problem.

He needs to really figure this aspect of coaching out or next year will be tough for him. I hope he succeeds.

DD bans Juve complacency

Didier Deschamps has urged Juventus not to lose their hunger for victory, even as their return to Serie A edges closer.

“It’s positive to be on top of the table, especially as we’re now eight points ahead of Piacenza,” commented the Coach after their 4-0 victory.

“Piacenza have some very good players with excellent pace and the result is harsh on them. They pushed us and made real problems, having more of the possession in the first half, but after our goal in the second they had to attack and that left us extra space to move in.”

However, the Frenchman warned his men that such a large winning margin against a direct promotion contender does not mean their work has been done.

“We have to maintain this aggression and desire to win. That hunger and eagerness to get as many points as possible is crucial. If we keep this rhythm, then we can extend our advantage over the others even more.”

Despite starting the campaign with a Calciopoli penalty – later reduced to nine points – the Bianconeri are already two points clear of Napoli at the top of the table.

There were warning signs, though, as Pavel Nedved seemed particularly tense during the Stadio Olimpico clash.

“It’s not easy for him to always be on the end of some very nasty tackles, so there is the risk he’ll react,” mused Deschamps.

“He has to be careful, because he’s important for the way we play and in the past he has been hit with some heavy bans. Pavel needs to improve in this respect, but as for his professionalism, every Coach would want a player like him.”

Juventus are in their final sprint of the season with 5 matches in the next 15 days that will be fundamental for their Serie A promotion objective.
Didier Deschamps outlined the current situation of the Bianconeri with regards to the promotion to Serie A following Sunday's important away win at Piacenza.
"We took advantage of the fact that behind us not everyone won and we increased the lead over the third place.
"The win against Piacenza helped especially for this, apart from giving us back the top spot. It was an important step forward, but there are still many more to do.
"With the three points for a win, you easily increase the lead by winning. Excluding us and Napoli, the others all had more problems.
"March and April are the decisive months, at the end of which the standings will be clearer. An important period starts now, with five matches in 15 days. There won't be any more time to work between an encounter and another, and everyone's help will be fundamental."
