Meanwhile, Elkann commented on reports Diego’s transfer to Wolfsburg could be back on.

“Could Diego leave? Teams need to be renewed and we all must look forward.”

Di Natale as a LW would be idiotic. He fosters up front in a lone position or a support one, placing him on the left flank and asking him to go back every time the team looses the ball would be more horrendous than watching Martinez playing on the left.

You guys dont know Del Neri if you think he will play a 4-2-3-1 with Krasic-Diego-Di Natale behind a striker. First of all, that position would be rather natural for Di Natale, aslong as he gets offensive freedom. But one of the 2 wings oughta be a more hardworking one, and Krasic has quite a drive in him and has decent work ethic, but its not a task he should be troubled with. This only makes sense if we would play 4-3-3, but that means either cutting out Diego or Krasic.

Thats hypothethizing him as a starter, he will mainly be backup ofcourse.

4-2-3-1, 4-4-1-1, 4-4-2, whatever. It makes no sense to bring this guy in as a striker when we already have DP and Diego.

So either Diego will be sold or Di Natale could be used on the wings.
