I don't think the refereeing on his part was that bad. The yellow card to Alberto was a bit unjustified, but he's just doing what his bosses pay him to do, and we're gonna see that rule enforced in Euro 2004 too. The Alberto yellow card rule is not suppose to be enforced until after EURO 2004 according to the UEFA site.....
The linesman on the other hand was just shite. There were at least 4 or 5 Monaco 'off-sides' in which a Monaco player was being played onside by at least half a metre.
next time it might be us or some other team
it damages the whole essence of the game
The creativity and desire to get chances gets ofcourse affected by idiots waving offside on clear onsides...
