Yes he should!
And Miccoli didn't leave us because of Del Piro,he left us the same day of ibrahim's arrival.
Di Vaio's departure was purposeless.
You can't blame Del Piero,he is not the manager or chairman,he is the player wich means a lot to us as a player or as a figure.
He is our current captain and you should respect him.
And one more thing, only the Italian player deserve to be the captain of Juve, not some zlatan.

Don, you don't know how much I had to figth myself to not answer you...but after thinking it well, I just have to...

I have many respect for you, I have always consider that you always give great opinions in this forum, but I must say that until the day comes that YOU pay Del Piero wages, only then you have the rigth to criticese Del Piero wages... Juventus pay Del Piero what they think he whorts, its not your problem, its not any fan problem what Del Piero earns.

You can criticese his form, you can critisece his skills, but In my opinion you don't have the moral rigth to talk about his wages.

You always talk about been realism, or present arguments, but if the only problem that you have with Del Piero are his wages, then you are not realistic and you don't present anu valid argument to this case.

Any of us, fans can determine the wages of a player, thats the job for the borad of Juventus (and I think that until now, they have made a great job), if they don't have any complain about his wages, if they believe that Del Piero worths what he earns, who are us the fans to say the contrary.

LIke I said at the begining of this post, I have alot of respect for you, and thats why, I don't want to enter in a discution with you, but I feel that its my duty to express what I have post.

Forza Juve! Forza Forever!!

That's already a huge contradiction to start with. You just proved he doesn't treat all players the same. And yes, in Capello's tactics we need someone like Zlatan, but I really do question those tactics. First of all we're a lousy team to watch, second of all we mostly skip midfield (except in the Milan game, when we as a whole played a very nice game, we actually played some good football) where our strengths lie in the likes of Camoranesi and Nedved and third of all we're not a fluent and very static team. With these, rather defensive, tactics you might win a domestic championship, but you're never ever going to have a shot at the CL.
Well if we are talking about tactics here I'm sure you concur with me that our tactics consisted of strength through the middle of the pitch and long balls up to our forwards most of the time. As you very well know Del Piero is not very good recieving balls in the air and winning challenges with his back towards goal. Zlatan is very adept at bringing the ball down against strong defenders with his back towards goal, either on his chest or settling the ball with his feet with a defender on his back. From what I have seen this season we tended to make more long balls as the game progressed mostly because we were defending a lead; keeping tight at the back and centrally through midfield. Since we resorted to long balls after a while Capello needed some forwards who could win ariel challenges, something Alex is not that great at doing. So Capello leaves a player such as Zlatan on the field because he can hold up the ball with defenders on his back. He also subbed DP to bring in Zalayeta, another player who is very strong and certainly a physical presence. Seriously this tactical explanation for Del Piero's persistent substitutions make a lot of sense to me.

And also lets not forget the possibility of Capello making sure Del Piero stays fit and injury free simply by subbing Del Piero before he gets tired, thus helping to prevent injury.

Well Said G,

Anyhow, I don't trust Capello and as Seven said the guy can be a moron to any player he wants, just like he was with Totti and Montella...

Another Point, You are all talking about Micco's and Di vaio's Departure was because of the Captain, why don't you take a look at Tudor's and Maresca when CAPELLO is the one who gave moggi the green light to get rid of them....

Didn't Capello Promised Micco that he'll get his chance playing with the team and then after couple of hours he kicked his ass to Florence and called Zlatan to come over...

So i suggest you all stop moaning about Dp, he has nothing to do with this, Dp is our Captain, Juve's Captain, Like it Or not, thats your problem, He's Juve's Legend, Our most Lovely Boy ever....

So get your sh!ts away from him.....
Who cares about Di Vaio and Miccoli anyway. One almost whinned his way down to Serie B this year and another will probably play behind Martins at Inter in September.

Seriously we did not need those players this year, why are we still talking about them? I would give away three Di Vaios for Ibrahimovic if it really mattered that much.

there are many things to consider here

- Capello has enough balls to be in charge of the team
- Juventus has players who are better than Del Piero at his possition (support striker)
- How valuable is Del Piero to our marketing ? Does Juventus even have a marketing department ? we get a handful of fans every game ffs
- Expect the unexpected from Moggi

dp wont go unless we have a good offer cash wise. 10 million pounds will be beautiful for a player like him though no club will pay that much for a dp of today's quality.

am not sure if cassano is a good fit for juve though we sure need players with the creative touch. in fact we may not need a forward - that is even if they actually manage to get rid of dp.

we do need midfielders who can orchestrate plays with nedved on his last legs too. ruben olivera and oliver kapo are good, but we need more. likewise, we need a defensive lynchpin with thuram and cannavaro in their early 30s already. do think thats why juve's transfer funds (excluding those to be exchanged) will go to, and hopefully we can get some money from the sale of dp to add to that. lets pray for that :)

The source is my brain.

Caravaggio was an artist who taught Pinturicchio. I think Baggios nickname was Caravaggio so Del Piero was named Pinturicchio.

I don't know how I know that actually.

edit: Oh thought you were talking to me :D
no, that is not the reason..
Angeli gave this name to del piero, because DP is moving on the pitch, like pinturicchio(artist) is drawing...

because he makes the same money. there you go i said it, big deal
JEEZ Can't you find better reason than this, You are comparing Dp now to Dp 1998 because he makes the same money, DAMN.

Don FFS, I repeat it when You'll be the one to PAY Alessandro Del Piero's wage then I'll Salut and I'll shut my mouth, But when your sitting home watching and eating Pop-corn, and your moaning about Dp's wage then I suggest you Shut up! Seriously, WHAT'S YOUR PROB WITH THE WAGES??

You think Moggi and his team ARE stupid enough not to know how they should control this, So now your the smart and they're the stupid ones?

Capello never complained about Dp's wage neither Lippi, Your the only one to complain, and I find it Lame,

I SUGGEST YOU FIND BETTER REASON DON.

I don't care about Di Vaio or Miccoli as-well, but when you hear some members moaning about Dp, that he's the reason these 2 players left, It just shows how dumb they could be, THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO PUT DEL PIERO IN THE MIDDLE, he's the one to blame always....

Del Piero Scoring 16goals with more than 4 assists one of them the Derby of the year. and people still complaining.....Jeeez christ.

Originally, someone was blaming Zlatan for DV and Miccoli leaving. I only said, if you want to blame any player for their departures (which you shouldn't - it is entirely down to the management and their decisions) then it should be DP.

But I'll repeat again, DP was not to blame...but he is one of the reasons why they left. But that is just football.

Whoever the original poster was (go back a couple of pages - I can't be bothered to look), he / she could be considered 'dumb' for blaming Zlatan - Zlatan wasn't even at the club at the time!

So calm down Azzurri7, there's no need to cry over it.

-I don't care If he/she was blaming Zlatan, Just Keep Del Piero away.

-He is not one of the reasons they left, Miccoli said he wants to be a starter in Juve and Capello promised him, then he screwed him and Called Ibra over, I don't see what Dp has to do with this.

-am Calm and Cool Monk.
