I have a really deoressing feeling in my stomach right now, does anyone else feel that way:confused:If Alex is unhappy I don't think I can be as well. Two things are just really hurting me,
1- Is that he's going to miss both Man U games, which will hamper our chances of advancing:(

2-I thought Alex was almost back to his old self, and this might disrupt his progress for an even longer time because when he gets back, the team would have been playing differently without him:fero:

Guys,I know it's going to be really hard for us against Man Utd and Inter without our captain, but this could be a blessing in disguise. Remember last season when Alex got injured and was out for 3 weeks (I think),when he came back he was well rested and played the best football he had played all season (5 goals in 5 games). Maybe, just maybe this may happen again...all we can do is pray.

this is going to be 5 weeks of hell....

or maybe Salas or Di Vaio will play good:rolleyes:
Who are u trying to fool?'

We all know that even if DV and Salas playd there best they would not fill out the empty spot in juventus' creativity, leadership, attack play and pride.

DP is without a doubt juventus' main icon.

Mayby hes not the best goalmachine, but that doesnt mean he is a worse player that Vieri.

To be honest DP is one of the closest examples ive seen to "a perfekt player"...

He passes well, shots very accurate and powerfull, haves a wonderfull tecnique, is fast, and his haves a realy good attitude on- and outside the pitch, he can score all kinds of goals. With his feet, with his heel, acro-style and even with his head (thinking of his size)

    He is just WONDERFULL.

Please i beg come back against Manchester, remember your friend Zidane played with a bad knee against them ;)

he's not that good, come on you're all making him out to be some sort of god. The only problem is our pathetic squad depth as we have nobody of sufficient quality to cover for either Nedved or Del Piero!

The fact is, Del Piero is so much more than a player for Juventus.
It's like he brings out the best out of everybody on the pitch...

He is really important and I'm sure U know that!
For Juve Del Piero ain't far from beeing called a GOD ;) :)

    About our pathetic squad...

I wouldn't go that far calling them pathetic...
But it's really sad that World Class players we have can't
play the way U would expect from them...

Let's reserve judgement on that until we see how the team actually performs without DP.

Hope for the full & fast recovery for our Captain cause we need him so much , but on the other hand we have a great squad that is cable of adapting to such circumstances cause we are simply Juventus fc .

That's an interesting point, maybe some of the DP lovers would want to change the name to Sporting Del Piero, FC Alessandro, or maybe "The Alessandro Del Piero Experience featuring Pavel Nedved". Hey, I kinda like that one...

It seems like everyone lose faith in Trez???? and depends too much on DP.
Trez is not an ordinarty player, and i'm sure he will be a trouble for man u.

But to be honest, i'm a fan of man u. 2:devil: (Juve comes first...though ) so, it was a great dissapointment for me not able to see DP demonstrates the real superb & classic football style to Beckham. :D:D

as i've mentioned a few times, my little brother is a HUGE MU fan (he even has an MU carpet) and he's not looking forwards to playing us even without DP
he still thinks we're going to beat them down (as he put it, "we have this annoying habit of losing when by all rights we should win")
so have faith, because my brother doesn't :)

rickenbacker2: the adp experience feat. neddy sounds like a hip hop group :)

i think DP is that important to juve.

    Facts:

    - del piero, is the support striker who creates most moves. he is our set peice taker as well...free kicks, penalties and corners are taken by him, and they are always perfect!

    - nedved, although playing behind the strikers isnt a creative player. Del Piero links well with him and if Di Vaio plays upfront, thats lossed, which means that Nedved loses that aspect of his game.

    - TRezeguet needs del piero to score goals. he is a goal machine...but needs to be given the ball, who will do this?

Juve have to change their style of play for Di Vaio to peform well. And when they change their play for that style, trezeguet doesnt really suit it.

So, don't kid yourself.........del piero is a god for juve at the moment. We can't replace him and we wont look as good as we have been.

in terms of looking good, i agree.
But i think Neddy and Camo can do a good enough job and pick the team up.

juve would have to play along the wings some more and cross to Trez....so it's up to them now....

maybe Zambrotta and Camoranesi should start practising their crossing........we are going to rely on them more than ever now.

    exactly...

Lippi might even switch to a flat 4-4-2 with Camo on the right and Neddy on the left to support playing on the wings.

Juve played this formation when they crushed bayer 4-0 last season. (though DP was playing  )

yeah, that worked because del piero still created upfront. imagine playing with tacchinardi and davids in the middle with di vaio, Mr. No creative skills......it wouldnt work.

maybe a camo nedved davids zambrotta midfield would be more creative, and that would mean that tacchinardi wouldnt play. i think that would work better.....because nedved and davids can both defend well and attack at the same time....and their work rate is high in the middle.
