Nah, the boi is good. He has ton of potential and it's up to him to develop it.
Potential for 45m !

It's not harmful to sign these newbies with potential, but we have urgent and priorities, the midfield is not working ...

but let's wait until the end of winter Mercato and only Pogba or similar player will do fix our problem ....

if Fabio just signed this guy and will start next season and no other fixes for our midfield coming January , then we are doomed and he need to leave the club

Every single signing we made was an opportunity. At least in our clubs eyes.
And since when an oppurtunity is bad?

You don't even know the player yet calling us desperate.

But since there were people bitching about Pogba back then nothing surprises me.

Bad midfield has nothing to do with a great opportunity for a wonderkid that our coach wants right now. Let's just hope we can find an agreement with Parma to bring him this month.

I don't know how that falls under the same category. Pogba's contract was running out and we literally signed one of the most talented kids in Europe for peanuts. I surely wouldn't post anything like this had we signed Kulusevski for 1mln euros. But no, we're paying 40mln for a guy who barely played 15 matches.

There's no reward without taking risks. We can spend 300 mil on Mbappe and he can get injured for 6 months the next day. Nothing is granted in life.
Of course. But you know, there are some players who'd guarantee instant boost of quality. Like Mbappe (of course, I'm not saying we should give up on a 40mln signing and sign a 300mln one, but you get the point).

How many matches did he play for Parma?
17 matches. Its quick, and a gamble, but what makes it desperate? If you show enough top level talent, big clubs will be racing to sign you. He had scouts on him weekly by us, Inter, Man U, Arsenal etc. He was bound to be signed now.

For senior football he is new for this season, but Italian clubs prolly aware or following before that. He has been in Atalanta academy since he was 15, 2015.

Such actions are desperate imo, especially now when those signings are made in January to patch the injuries. Scouts or not, we're talking about the senior level here and this guy barely played, yet his value is 40mln (mostly because clubs can sense how desperate some are so they dictate the price, especially now in January which is the month famous for the ripoffs). Back in 2015 he barely had his penis developed, let alone his footballing skills.

It's a huge risk. Not only that, but our team needs many fixes which makes this signing even more strange. It's not like we're all set and now we can afford to take the gamble and potentially end up with a good player.

It's a risk but it's not desperate.
