Dean Huijsen , at the moment, has doubts about the possibility of accepting the offers from Stuttgart (15 million plus bonuses offered to Juventus ) and Bournemouth. The player is taking time to evaluate any new, more prestigious solutions

He's obviously waiting for Real Madrid, like Isla did back in 2012.

what is he thinking. He played at Roma for half season, scored some beatiful goal, but was dogshit in defence, none better team will approach him.
scored 2 goals and 1 assist in limited playing time. Using both feet well as defender.

Yes, he made mistake against Udinese but it's a growth process. Even Milan value Malick Thiaw for €25m and Chelsea value Chalobah for €35m. There is nothing wrong that he is valued highly

Would love to get some good money from him
Im a bit hyped about the future. This is really a good generation if we consider that guys like Soule, Huijsen, De Winter, Nicolussi, Iling, Barrenechea and Kaio will get us 80m even if we estimate it in a conservative way and ignoring the lesser names like Barbieri, Sekulov etc

And the good thing is that it’s replicable. Definitely some genuine talent but nothing extraordinary seen.

As time progresses, I think ideally we’d continue with a bunch of players who are close to the first team and a handful out on loan. Depending on their qualities and our squad depth overal, one or two might be added every one or two season, all the other just boost our finances.

Imagine our financial situation without the sells of all those guys. We’d be chasing expensive free players like we did before. Therefore I honestly don’t understand why some here like to trash the youth. They’re a big part of becoming a sustainable club.

But I'd rather see if we can extract that potential that he has ourselves rather than throwing him away for 15m and see him develop to a 50m defender in 2 years. And if we fail, well then at least we didn't lose out on that much money. Even if he fails we'll get around 10m just based on his age alone.

I just don't see the rationale here.
Yes, but we do lose points if we have a lower quality of player at the club.

Imo going for proven quality over potential is exactly what we need to be doing. We're a mess of a team. Once we're more established again we can start taking punts on Ruganis and Ogbonnas.

Completely agree. Makes money and one day will make us our own superstars. Great business. Finally.

According to reports, Juve is asking 18M + bonus and 20% of future sale...

Bournemouth Stuttgart & Wolfsburg have match the offer, now its up to the player to decide where to go.

If we try to sell our players, mercato news are like „Juve want 40 mil for Soule and 30 mil for Huijsen“ and each week the price drops and our hands are tied.
If we are linked to a player the price rises each week and we end up overpaying

Could've gone to Frosinone and played, chose Roma

Couldve gone to Stuttgart and played in the CL but has chosen Bournemouth for some odd reason. I don't think he is being advised very well.

Tbh I wouldn’t choose Stuttgart too. Think they are about to lose 4-5 starting XI players. They will have a hard time the upcoming season

we don't need money now. as we don't need neither todibo, shiteminers nor fuckwhat wingers we are linked with. it seems like giuntoli is in dire need of money as he is shuffling the cards like a clown.
We don't need money, really?

So you think Huijsen is as good as Todibo? Or because he might be in 4 years helps us now?

I feel like Dutch gravitate to England or Bayern or Barcelona. He's thinking if he does well at Bournemouth then Chelsea or someone will spend big on him after one half decent season, which is actually very likely.

Or the price never dropped in negotiations drastically and we should stop being fooled by media inventions?

It’s still not enough money, if they played in the French league or would be Atalanta players we’d pay 40 mil
