I have zero care about us selling him because he seemed like the sort of player who wouldn’t last here very long anyway.
It's not just that. If we sign a 24 year old Todibo to pair with a 27 year old Bremer, Huijsen is expendable. CB just isnt a position where you're rotating players or subbing guys out during games. As long as your starters at fit, you want them playing as much as possible.

It would be nice to be able to keep him/loan him out and have a plan for the long term, but we cant afford to do that right now. We need the money.

If we miss out on Todibo (after already missing on Calafiori), it's a different discussion

Really bad vibes around him tbh. Needs to be taken down a peg or two. Its not like he was amazing on loan at Roma or anything.
He doesnt need to be "taken down a peg or two." He has the right to do whatever he wants in his career. I just dont see the need to get worked up or angry over a guy that probably has no intention of being here long term. I see him for what he is, an asset to bring in money --- just like he probably sees Juve as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.

All of that is fine and should result in good business for us.

This just isnt a situation where it's someone like Yildiz, who clearly wants to be at Juventus, but we're forcing him out for money. That is someone that we'd have every right to get worked up about. I dont see that need when it comes to Huijsen.

The thing is he has never played and probably will never play for Juve. Not sure if it's him or his entourage being absolutely convinced the player is destined for greatness. However, the world has seen plenty of talents like him totally wasted or turning mediocre. Huijsen played 500 minutes in Serie A so far and is already thinking of Juventus as a stepping stone? He should be happy he's even in the squad. De Ligt has done much more when he was around that age. If we can get something close to 30mln for him we should definitely get rid of him.

what exactly has he done in his career to think he is too big to reject teams like Stuttgart etc? He has done ZERO to think he’s above the likes of playing for a CL qualified team from the Bundesliga.

I’m afraid you and many Juventus fans are overrating this guy because he’s a fancy-looking CB who is good on the ball. He is FAR from the finished product, and with his rumoured attitude and company he keeps, I don’t see this guy amounting to a lot either tbh.

Why is it bad attitude? Like why are we overanlyzing and imagining things from media reports?

He has several clubs interested him, closely rumoured go clubs at Stuttgart level or defenitely better then Stuttgart. First off it's just media speculation, but if it's true, so what? Wouldn't you rather sign for Dortmund, Leipzig or PSG over Stuttgart? Just one of the handful teams interested in him.

Stuttgart is a small side despite CL breakout season last, their stature is fleeting and brief most likely (hence them selling their best players to Dortmund). They are basically the German Bologna. Should he choose Bologna over others if they came calling?

It's his career choice so if he wants a better environment or bigger team, that makes sense. Why does this rile up some of you so much?

Some of you just keep repeating the same anti mantra about him for little reason. What is it based on? He wanted to be loaned to Mourinho led Roma instead of Frosinone? Obviously much better choice. And he still got to play for Roma.

His contract expires in 2 years and not renewing? Well it's in his interest to not renew when we don't look like we have any interest to use him in the team.

Really career choices and footballing wise, I don't get all this agitation about him at all. Club looks for it's own interest and so does the player. It's basic. And we the one who made it clear we want to sell him. So why is he a villain lol

The only true red flags about him are personal matters, not footballing ones, the fact he is rumoured to date a pornstar. And the fact his father is a (former) criminal.

For the rest, I don't get the hoopla. You all are just eager to spin anything about him to a negative. This whole thread is filled with Turk Bianconeros lol

It's just become the flavor of the week to hate this guy. Forum users are so easily influenced they read one or two posts and just go along with the agenda. I've been seeing it for over 20 years here.

Lanzafame and Volpato were amongst my favourites :touched:

Lol he’s not going to fuck you Osman.

Tell me…why so much hype and feelings about him? In actually think it’s way more insane and cringe how you and others over here are acting so stalkerish and weird over a dude who has achieved and done (and shown at the top level) FUCK ALL so far in his career…but only rating him because he’s young and came from our youth team.

Just look at how Soule is behaving himself and compared to him and it’s chalk and cheese. Oh and that move to Frosinone worked out well for Soule as well. Maybe old Deany boy should have taken that option too and

And no, choosing Roma over Frosinone was fine in isolation…but old mate changed his mind LAST MINUTE when everything was agreed to and the deal was about to be signed. Pretty poor look and not the first time he’s changed his mind and screwed over another party in his short career. And his Roma spell was less than impressive too. Yeh I know, he’s young and all, but I don’t see anything generational about him other than he is good on the ball and plays nice long balls.

What agenda? His actions speak louder than words.

What action, please quantify them. Because it's insane how this thread runs away with wild speculations.

What has happend really? Club had agreed with Frosinone loan, but the player hadn't yet, and we played Roma, Mourinho came up to the kid and talked to him. And then kid hearing a legend like Mourinho wants him opted for Roma over village team Frosinone.

How is that such an affront? Better opportunity. It's just a loan so it didn't ruin anything. In fact we even got a better loan deal with Roma, because they had to pay us more money if they didn't play him as starter.

What else has happend besides that? Because we as a club chose to not have him in senior team, chose to loan him out, and now choosing to sell him instead of bring him back. What else has happend besides that?

Notice I'm not arguing against the idea of selling him, he is talented enough to be in our senior team set up as rotation option, but I'm fine with club dire financial needs sacrificing him. But I truly don't get this senseless need to vilify him.

We are about to sell him, just be happy for that and the profit. Without this need to paint him some evil mercenary.

Actually we don't know if it's the player pushing for a move or the other way round. We are in a situation where every player could be sold for the right offer but it's not the same as pushing the player away.

I always believed in him. However, his behaviour sometimes seemed dickish. Still this guy could be huge for us. But sometimes you just can't help but say good riddance. All in all, this guy is the real deal. Let's wait and see will he honour this club or run for money. What ever happens history will prove us right.
