With Secco in the house, the reality would be more like:

-- Recoba -- Pozzi ---
------- Juanfran -----
-- Nicky Butt -- Jankulovski

Play Juanfran on the left and Recoba slíghtly behind Pozzi and you might just be on to something good here.

They are weird and counterproductive, but apparently teams in Italy have hard time loaning out players? Not too many suitors eager to loan or something. So they keep using this incentive of giving them a half of a player to interest them in a deal. But mostly, co-owns are for players the bigger teams arent so sold on they will keep, so selling half in advance means you arent stuck with that player despite how much he sucks. There is a little team you can dumb him in by not bidding for the second half.

Btw, anyone seen Lanzafame? We knew he would be loaned out anyway, now its yet again a co-own deal. Co-own deals can work as loans IF you put in a clause of how much you are to buy back the other half, and if that sum is the same as what you sold him for. In that case, its exactly like a loan in some ways. But when its cases like Critiscito, then its absolute disaster deals to make...

Italians are too frigging interested in weeling and dealing instead of a straight up direct affair :D

co ownerships are sucky.
i couldnt agree with you more my friend.so many players were ruined due to all these stupid co-ownership deals. But considering the fact that we are gonna play in CL next season we need to bring experienced players to provide cover and strengh in the squad.Perhaps youngsters like Lanza aint ready for that. Its sad cause so many talented youngsters end up playing for siena livorno etc.:disagree:

Lanzafame The 'New Ronaldo’ – Conte
Bari coach Antonio Conte says that Juventus-owned youngster Davide Lanzafame has the potential to be as good as Cristiano Ronaldo.

Italy currently have a seemingly never-ending list of explosive talents coming through at present, with the likes of Mario Balotelli, Sebastian Giovinco and Fernando Forestieri just a few of those tipped for great things.

Another player who is starting to catch the eye is Juventus-owned forward Davide Lanzafame.

The 21-year-old is on-loan at Serie B side Bari, and has scored nine goals this season, none of them penalties.

"Lanzafame has improved tactically,” Bari coach Conte told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

“He is explosive, he sniffs the goal, and imposes his speed outside the area. If he improves and learns he can become like Cristiano Ronaldo."

Lanzafame earned his maiden call-up to the Italy Under-21 squad last month, and is expected to travel to this summer’s Olympics in Beijing.

Despite his burgeoning talent, as part of his loan agreement with Juventus, Bari incredibly have been allowed the option to sign Lanzafame for a miserly €300,000 at the end of the season.

Wait so Bari can get him if they just pay the 300k or will they need to negotiate with Juve? I'd rather use him in the Amauri deal then just lose him for practically nothing.

I think its an option IF Juve wants to sell. Or its binding and Juve really doesnt believe in him and see him as one of many dead weight youths they wouldnt mind getting rid of, when they made that deal.

He has alot to prove and show (that he isnt another Maniero or other players who are deadbeat fodder), being in some minnow serie a team is a start.
