why are people so hypnotised by Huntelaar, he is UNPROVEN!
He's a quality player, the guy can score from half chances so i think u're wrong on this. But villa is great too and he would be a dream sign but we allready have enough forwards so the fucos now is on defence .........hopefully :xfinger:

you have a point, but im just not convinced by Huntelaar im sorry. I feel there are much better options out there, Villa being one of them.

think realistic, villa is unreachable. We can't afford to break the bank on another forward now after Amauri anyway

Both van nistelrooy and ronaldo were great in the dutch league and they've impressed more with their later clubs......I think that huntlear will be a success whenever he plays IMO......
yes im not saying he wont be a success, i just feel we arent in a position to be taking chances with players right now, especially with a striker who would cost the club alot of money. Anyway, apart from my opinion, i dont see Huntelaar ending up at Juve in the near future.

:agree: just what I was getting at, all palyers from countries without good leagues Netherlands, Brasil and portugal for example all have to start there to impress even if the leagues aren't the strongest, you can see the stars as their talent shines through

but there has also been ALOT of flops who were touted as being the next best thing. Not everybody lives up to expectations..

But take a look at Kezman. He was also known as a great goalscorer until he came to a big club, after he had played 4 years in PSV and scoring 105 goals in 122 matches. Next year in Chelsea he only scored 4 goals in 25 matches, so it is proven that the dutch league is an all other level of football.

Ofcourse its about taste of players and what you think of the player youself, but he has neither proved anything to me :)

yeah but thats part of the world of football, but the hunter has class and finishing something that doesn't change in any league. Its not like having skill and being able to skill on every player on the opposition in the dutch league, it's impossible to do that in the english league. Do you get what I mean? :)

yeah I do :) but you can also take a look at the defenders in the Eredevise. Their marking doesn't seems to be the european top-class. A player like Afonso Alves looked like he could do so much with a ball, but only because he got so much space in the dutch league.
And a player like Koevermans who always has made many goals in the Eredevise, i'll bet that he would be to easy to mark for the big clubs and I am afraid that the same could happen to Hunter..
