Shut up!

Del Piero, Trez, camo has done really well for the club, but it is time to say goodbye to them. I know that you must treat legends with respect, which I have always done. I have never written or said a bad word about them and never comes to it!

My point is: It is time to "juvenise" the team so that we can start next season with full force. I think all fans would agree/accept if the legends themselves said stop. I wish that Del Piero will be allocated a job in the club and thus may help to revive the young talents in the years ahead. For now, we face the need to include younger forces - it's time to see the truth and make the changes that can make our proud club back where it belongs, as champions in series A.

Hope I have not offended anyone with my thread!

Ps. for now, let us take the 4th spot

The only veteran I am willing to let go this summer is, sadly, Camoranesi. On his day, he will be our most enjoyable player to watch and can influence the team alot, but the injuries and the inconsistency has let him and us down. That being said, we need perfectly capable winger/s to replace him, which we will probably need a fortune to do.

On Trezeguet, it is inevitable to say that he is still our most dangerous and prolific striker we have. I still believe that with decent enough service, he'll give us at least one more good year. It's better to spend money on defense or width.

Regarding Del Piero, well, he's Del Piero after all. I agree we have to soon start thinking on the future, so that is why I want him to be considered as a super sub from next season and not as a starter.

Why can't you people understand that legendary players as Camo, Trez, and Del Piero have to stay here and retire here. Selling them will be like Man Utd selling Giggs, Scholes, or Nevile, Real selling Raul, Barca selling Puyol etc. Not only these players are superb but a team with no experienced players can't get much trophies. Look at Arsenal. They always get talented young players but without the experience and leadership of older players they often can't win vs the big teams. Seriously they have a captain who is 22 years old...

For those complaining about the injuries, would you also like to see Iaquinta leave with his recent problems?

Yeah, its a crazy isn't it. To have a captain that has worked his way up from the clubs youth team, played for the club since he was 16 years old and amassed over 250 first team appearances while contributing ridiculously in terms of assists and goals. Someone like that cant be a leader, he's just far too young......

This is what I don't get, Why should we change the best players we have ATM? Just because they're over 30 you might say, but take it from this perspective, how many strikers could net half as much as Alex and Trezigoal this season with all the poor support they've been getting, I say quite few and its debatable whether any of those "few" could come next season so I prefer to stick our oldies for now and win rather than betray them for a cheap unjustified reason and have another fucked up season.

The he's a legend and I love him and I respect him but he should go is getting silly and boring.

Del Piero, Trezeguet, Buffon, Camoranesi should go no where unless THEY request this. But we should never get rid of them. Once Trezeguet wants to leave then we should respect his desire and let him but letting him go when he wants to stay is unacceptable.

Deal with it.

Sure. Let's keep the legends and play them while we continue to get overrun by mediocre teams. I love that plan. Perfetto :D
Each to his own.

I have my definition for loyalty and to me loyalty is part of Football, but that's just me maybe.

After Calciopoli and Serie B, I can't turn my back as a fan to the likes of David. He leaves when he wants. His presence is just like Ale, even if he wont play a big role next year his presence has it's weight.

This is my philosophy in Football and I find myself spot on.

I know you're not serious but it's actually the "legends" of this club who have been outperforming the rest this season. Buffon early on with save after save after save after save after save, Camo scoring and assisting loads until he got injured, Trezeguet top scorer, Del Piero just last match was the main guy in terms of the final result.
