David Trezeguet’s time at Juventus could be up after Lyon confirmed they were still interested in signing him, possibly in an exchange for Karim Benzema.

This week the Frenchman infuriated Coach Claudio Ranieri, who referred to him as “a spoilt child” after the public complaints to newspaper L’Equipe about his substitution against Chelsea.

Juve resisted offers from the likes of Barcelona to release Trez over the past two seasons, but this latest tantrum could force him out and back towards his homeland.

“We wanted him two and a half years ago,” confirmed Olympique Lyonnais boss Jean Michel Aulas.
