Trez himself said he wants Benzema in Juve. Lets sell Amauri next year and make the man's wish come true. :D

Lyon ponder Trez exchange

French giants Lyon may be preparing a part-exchange swoop to bring Juventus hitman David Trezeguet to the Stade Gerland.

Trezeguet is currently recovering after surgery on both knees and is expected to return to action in January.

However, given the glut of attacking options at Claudio Ranieri's disposal, it is possible the French international may struggle to find a place in the first team.

According to a variety of sources in France, Lyon are considering offering Trez the chance to return to his homeland and are willing to offer Juve highly rated striker Karim Benzema in exchange.

At the age of 20, Benzema is seen by many as Trezeguet's heir for Les Bleus and he already has 35 goals to his name in Ligue 1 from just 88 appearances.

A number of top European sides are keeping a close eye on Benzema, but Juve could trump them all as they have the ideal bargaining chip in Trezeguet.

As much as I admire Benzema I wouldnt like to see Trez. He's stuck through serie b even if it was by force but he was instrumental in most of our league wins & breezing through serie b.Personally id love to see him finish his career at Juve.

Id love to see Benzema in a Juve jersey.

Trez got slow,he'll be even slower and more useless when he comes back.... can we reward him by employing him as a scout on Hawaii/Bahama islands or sth?
i'm pretty sure after he does retire that he would be hired as a coach or front office official

but why hawaii or bahama?

that's more like it :D
Ain't it? The age difference is not that big between Amauri and Trez. Next year Amauri will be 29 and when Trez was that age he was already sold by numerous members. We keep a club icon, we cash in on Amauri at the best possible time and we get an exciting new attacker who can learn from Trez for a year or two. What a wonderful solution. :D

Too true. If we're gonna sell, Amauri is the cash cow here.
