Ronaldo too. :D

Recoba is way past his best. (if he ever showed his best) Plus he is also not the player that can replace Trez.
Forwards: Capparella, Recoba, Ronaldo, Vignaroli.

They were out of contract.

None of them are able to replace Trez, but we can start Amauri/DP/Iq and put one on the bench. Recoba looks like the only good one tho who isnt fat.

short term we need someone. not long term.
Before the start of the season we were saying that we have many good strikers and that there be a problem from the 2 that will be benched. We were complaining about the signing of Amauri and cause he is a very good striker who will not play cause of treza and del and we could spend somewhere else the money...

These were some opinions during the transfer period...

Now we have 3 fit very good strikers. Why do we need a 4 one???? something like a buckup??? Our attack is still one of the best according to me. Our problem is not our attack, our problem is our midfiled...

So you think that we must bench Treza and buy someone else like Huntelar for example?? Or Bench ne young one????

He is 30 and he is a striker. He can play for at least another 5 years...

why just trez?

del piero, nedved and camo are all 30+ and i don't see anyone talking about finding their replacements.

btw, it is nearly impossible to "replace" a legend. its more like coping without one

Yes you do: many here are saying we need to build for the future.
Every player comes to an end of their career, and those you mention are nearing theirs. It can happen quickly too.

We miss Trez so much because he is still our only real world class out and out striker.

agreed

but replacing is not the proper term to use for trez or any of the other mentioned. i feel that the proper word to use is 'fill'

the bolded segment is spot on

Ok you are right, we cant "replace" a legend we can only fill the spot!! But why, when someone says something about DP like ; he is old, he is not what he used to be; a "copy" of him can be found, everyone on Juventuz.com are acting like the end of the world had come!!!??? Yes he is a legend and he will never ever be forgoten, but if you say that his spot should be "filled" by someone better that doesnt mean that you have forgoten everything that he had done for the club!!!

you should know that whenever ADP is the topic; all the rules are thrown out the window. the subject matter is far too sensitive and everything is blown severely out proportion.

most members are smarter than they lead on (hopefully), even though they scream about losing our legends and like you mentioned the end of the world has come. but you are right, their body of work and successes with/for the club will not be forgotten

guys, plz stop bitching like Inter fans or Milanistas...the fact of the matter is that both Ale and Trez are champions, and it will be a quite a bit of time before we can find guys who can achieve anything even close to what they have done for Juve...nobody is right to criticize King David, he has done too much and more importantly, sacrificed too much to be looked down upon by anyone

Ok you right!! But i really hope that those people will come to their sences and realise that we should start look for a "copy" of DP!!!! The sooner they realise that the better!!! Plus i want to ask you something else. Would it be a bad thing if DP is benched now more often...i mean do you think that it would be bad for DP for Juve for the fans??? He would still have the chance to play but not so regulary as now!!!!
