Almost certainly it looks like Juventus management are in negotiation with Laporta. Laporta is reported in the Spanish press as stating that he wants three new attacking players to replace Eto'o, Ronaldinho and Deco.

Those identified are David, Adebayor and probably Alex Hleb.

It now looks as though Trez is dogmeat and is Catalonia bound, where he will finish his career, assuming Laporta increases the offer to around €20m. I don't think there is any doubt about this.

Correctly, Secco and Ranieri are looking to refresh the attacking options and the likelihood is that Huntelaar will be in a black and white shirt in readiness for the CL qualifier in a few weeks time.

Which simply leaves the matters of Xabi Alonso and Stankovic to be completed in the next few days before a final assault is made on a back four player to complete the summer intake.

In: Mellberg, Giovinco, De Ceglie, Amauri, Huntelaar, Xabi Alonso, Stankovic and one other.

Trezeguet For Sale For €25m
According to Tuttosport, Juventus will sell David Trezeguet to Barcelona if they receive an offer of €25m.

Trezeguet has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the past few weeks or so, and the Frenchman is currently second choice behind Emmanuel Adebayor in the list of strikers that Josep Guardiola wants for next season.

Tuttosport says that Juventus will sell Trezeguet providing they receive an offer of €25m, and they have already started planning what they will do with this money.

The first investment idea is Ajax hitman Klaas Jan Huntelaar, who is considered as a similar mould of striker to Trezeguet, and is actually available for exactly €25m.

The second idea is to spend €15m on Udinese forward Fabio Quagliarella, before using the remaining €10m on Lyon full back Fabio Grosso.

It remains to be seen whether Barcelona will be prepared to fork out such a sum of money for a player who turns 31 later this year, however despite his age there are still many who consider Trezeguet as one of, if not, the best penalty box striker in the world.

Trezegol was incredibly left out of France’s Euro 2008 squad, despite scoring 20 Serie A goals last season. Les Bleus crashed out in the first round with just one point and one goal from three games.

I love trezeguet he is a symbol at juve, but if we can get huntelar it would be really tempting not to go for it.

No doubt it's tempting and on paper looks like a damn good deal. But I still think we shouldn't sell Trezeguet. Of course it's because he's a magnificent player for Juve, but I dont know - with Calciopoli and Juventus returning to Europe next season - I feel he should stay so that the Del Piero - Trezeguet can unlease cannons next season. They deserve this for all they've gone through. These five players that stayed have suffered more so than any individual in football like Juve have, and I think they deserve a victory in the end in a Juve jersey to signify our triumph. A return to serie A and 3rd place doesn't cut it.

its definitely something to strongly consider!!

Trez is soon going to be 31, and it his value can only fall in the future and possibly his performances too. Selling him now after his great season and at this age is probably the best time if we are to do so, as it will maximise the amount of money we can bring in from his sale. Also, we have the chance to bring in a great young replacement with Huntelaar.

Nonetheless, Trez is a Juve legend; our highest foreign goalscorer, can we really just sell him with him not even wanting to move?Do we not owe him for staying with us in Serie B. He has formed one of the best partnerships in the game with Alex and it is not as though he relies on pace for his goals so it is possible that he can continue to play at this level for at least another 3/4 years.

Its a tough decision that has positives each way, but Juve are a business; one which has made significant losses in the past few seasons. Maybe we have to put sentiment aside and think about what is best for Juve.

We would all love that for trez and Dp, but if you look at it our starting forwards are aging and fast, although I know that DP and trez will definetely go on a scoring spree next season, and they deserve a chance at CL or atleast to win at trophy back from serie B, but I feel that this is the best offer that we will ever get for trez and this might be our best shot at getting hunterlar, knowing that by next season the likes of chelsea and real madrid will be all over him.

Im just stating the business aspect of things, i love trez and will always be grateful for everything he has done for juve. But this is an offer that even the most loyal trez and juve supporter would somehow consider .

Screw business. This is not 50 million € we are talking about. Now that would be a piece of good business. We bought Trez for exactly about 25 mil. € and selling him for the same amount even though he is much older now isn't really that great piece of business, especially if we invest that money in Quagliarella and Grosso. Huntelaar would be the best natural replacement for Trez but he isn't any better than him and cannot offer more than Trez. The only advantage Hunter has over Trez is age. I am clearly against this deal since Trez is already a Juve legend and has plenty more to offer. It would be devastating for me seeing him go. He is one of our players who deserves special treatment. We got Amauri now and our forward line is complete. Maybe next seaosn we could try to add Cassano or similar young player of his type to bring some fresh blood for the future but that is premature at the moment.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, keep Trez while he is still banging goals in, and get an unknown player for cheap and let him develop alongside Trez to eventually takeover from him, as opposed to selling Trez and getting an expensive replacement.
