Gazzetta and Milan is nothing compared to what Marca is to Madrid, they go way too far especially with the whole Ronaldo circus, but nonetheless everyone knows Gazzetta is Milan & Berlusconi's personal website
Gazzetta is actually a very good and respected newspaper, Marca and AS are a joke. Marca can be compared to Tuttosport or Corriere.
If you want an interesting and professional read about sports you buy Gazzetta. (they have the best connections with club officials and they're better informed than the others)
But when the topic is Milan then they aren't so professional anymore.

That's why i'm disappointed when i read their calciomercato stories full with Milan bias.
But at the end you have to understand them. Even though they are the most popular newspaper throughout Italy, the highest percentage of their readers are those who want to read good news about Milan and bad news about Juve.

Juve To Sell Trez & Sign Three Players
According to reports in Italy, Juventus will sell David Trezeguet to Barcelona before signing Xabi Alonso, Fabio Quagliarella and Rafael Marquez.

Trezeguet had a stunning season in Turin last season, scoring 20 goals to finish second in the race for the Serie A Capocannoniere.
Despite this the Frenchman continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona, with new Coach Josep Guardiola said to be desperate to sign the former Monaco man.

Barcelona are prepared to offer around €20m, and the latest reports in Italy suggest that Juve believe this is an offer that is too good to turn down, considering the fact that Trezeguet will turn 31 later this year. With the money they receive from Trezegol’s sale, Juve will then invest into signing Liverpool’s Xabi Alonso.

The Bianconeri will then focus on capturing another forward to replace Trezeguet, and once again they are being linked with a move for Udinese’s Fabio Quagliarella, who they are prepared to pay €15m for.

Finally, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Juve will look to capture defender Rafael Marquez from Barcelona, possibly in the deal that includes Trezeguet, although not necessarily. The Mexican struggled at times for the Blaugrana last season, and could be allowed to leave by Guardiola this summer.

You guys still think selling Trez is good for our future ?
We'll invest the money we'll get from him to buy Xabi Alonso and then we'll add cash money (or money from the sales of Tiago and Almiron) to buy Marquez (30 yo) and Quagliarella (if he wasn't Italian no-one would have rated this guy).

Quagliarella to score the goals Trez was scoring every year. Yuppiiiiii.

Gazzetta always write bad news for Juve fans though, so i still don't believe this Trez theory. But if what they say is true, then i'm speachless.

if we sell trez Quagliarella and Rafael Marquez will not come

If the Mattress thing is true, I can't see Italy making it past the group stage.

Gigli Closes Door For Trez, Opens For Aquilani And Alonso

Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli insists that David Trezeguet will not be leaving the Old Lady despite being linked with a move to Barcelona but he has left the door open for Aquilani and Alonso.

The French hit-man scored 20 goals in Serie A this season for Juventus and the Catalonian giants are keen on taking him to Camp Nou.

Reports last week claimed Juve had turned down a €20m bid for Trezegol and Cobolli Gigli reveals he has never thought about selling his star striker and that he is also looking to buy some top quality midfielders.

“I have never ever thought about selling Trezeguet,” Gigli told Tuttosport.

“At the moment we are chasing Xabi Alonso and Aquilani as well as others.

“We are paying close attention to these players and we know that they can easily integrate themselves well within our group.”

Juve are currently in the process of strengthening their side and Claudio Ranieri is a big admirer of Roma’s Alberto Aquilani.

The Roma player still hasn’t managed to extend his contract and, so far, talks have stalled regarding a better wage deal.

This in turn could leave the door wide open for a move to Juventus.

Barcelona Just Will Not Give Up On Trezeguet
Barcelona will not give up on David Trezeguet as vice president Ferran Sorriano will fly to Turin to swoop for the player next week according to Tuttosport. The Blaugrana have been playing close attention to the French hit-man who scored an impressive 20 goals in Serie A this term for the Old Lady.

Pep Guardiola has been a long admirer of Trezegol and the new Barcelona coach will be desperate to replace the out-going Samuel Eto'o.

Juve have always said that Trezeguet will not be sold for any price as they want to keep him for the Champions League next season.

However, Tuttosport claims that Sorriano will fly to Turin next week to try and tempt the striker away from the Olimpico and towards the Camp Nou. Barcelona will be looking to offer Juve chiefs between €12m and €15m but it seems as if the Bianconeri will turn that down straightaway as they are adamant on keeping their man.

Trezeguet has in the past stated his desire to stay at the club and it is unlikely that Juve will let him go easily. Vincenzo Iaquinta looks more likely to leave Turin rather than the Frenchman and reports claim the former Udinese man is close to a Roma move.

Claudio Ranieri is currently bolstering his squad in light of next season's Champions League and it would make no sense to get rid of one of his best players.
