hell, even huntelaar doesnt cut it for me im sorry. regardless of trez wanting to stay or not, he produces the results, here's a proven world class striker who scores time and time again and never fails us (oh dont give me that whole 'trez does nothing' argument, i dont care so long as he scores the goals, and now we have amauri to make up for that anyway, and we always had other players to accommodate for that) so yes, he's my safety net, and i wont let him go.

I doubt Trez will go and i highly doubt he wants to go.. In saying this, if he left for Barcelona my respect for him would not diminish one bit as he has been a collosal for us and has demonstrated that "Juve" class you just can't buy

trezeguet is such a weird player. everybody loves him if he scores his trademark goals, but if he doesn't score he's completely useless :D

you know, his finishing is underappreciated. now that amauri has come many think that he's better than trezeguet because he can score AND create. However Trez scores more goals than him every season.

I just hope Trez doesnt begin the season with a goal drought as there is no doubt Amauri will be waiting in the wings and if he fires then Trez could be on the outter.. This said, there will be enough games to staisfy all 3 of them but noone can deny that there is something different about being a certain starting striker that he was this season and a "first" change striker

If he wants to go...i believe the board is gonna honour his wishes and allow him to go. Maybe thats a part of the deal they struck with him to have him remain this year after the whole thing with him and them last season when he looked certain to leave.

People are seriously hypocritical when it comes to Trezeguet.

I doubt there is any deal like that as Trez wouldn't be like that.. If he does leave it won't be in bitterness or by any contract loophole

i, on the other side, could imagine very well that this type of deal exists. It's possible that they persuaded him to stay for at least one other season, and then he'll be free to choose what to do.

To all those saying it's impossible i'd like to remind you guys to the hand-waving scene last season. Yes, that was the same trezeguet everyone is hailing about what a juve-fan he is, and honestly, he hurt A LOT of people by doing so (me included - because let alone the fact that we would have lost a great figure, it was kind of disrespectful too). Nevertheless, i haven't (and won't ever) loose my respect for this guy, but people saying it's completely impossible for him to leave are just too biased imo.

Since signing the contract extension he's given us every indication that he'll stay here for a long time indeed.. I remember one article not so long ago asking him of Barca's interest and he said it was flattering but he feel's Turin & Juve is home and he assured us he'll be here for the remainder of his career, ofcourse things can change just as they did for his good mate Thierry at Arsenal but that was different..

True that about one thing though, if Trez leaves, I'm sure it won't be in bitterness. I just hope the board won't sell him just to make money ... the question now is whether he wants to leave or not.

This is partly the reason why I hate summer transfers, I'm excited about players coming in but it's quite horrifying to predict who's gonna go.

I agree, IMO it'll come down to if Trez wants a new challenge or not

Juve Open To Trezeguet Sale
Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus F.C. are willing to off-load David Trézéguet for a fee of €25 million.

The French striker was in stunning form this season for La Vecchia Signora, having helped the Turin-based club manage a third-place finish in Serie A with his 20 goals.

However, Trezegol's place in Juventus' starting scheme is very much in doubt after the team signed Brazilian-born hitman Amauri from Palermo.

And while Juventus' sporting director, Jean Claude Blanc, indicated last week that the club did not want to sell Trézéguet , it is now understood that they are willing to listen to offers.

Reports coming from Italy claim that Barcelona coach, Josep Guardiola, is eager to bring in Trézéguet, which may leave the Frenchman considering his options. A move to Camp Nou would reunite Trézéguet and Thierry Henry, who are longtime friends, having played together in Monaco.

It is reported that Juventus have set an asking price of €25 million for Trézéguet, who was left out of the French squad for Euro 2008.
