“The derby is the city’s game and it means so much to the fans. But for us players Fiorentina is the big one.”
I like the way he down plays the torino match like its nothing to juve but slaps their in-town rivals in the face by saying the players are find viola (for obvious reasons) more important. Great way to get into the heads of the torino players. I love when our players play mind games with the opposition

“I like the way we are playing, but there is a lot to improve upon.
Mama mia, I think the flu got to Trez's head.

I actually feel sorry for the guy, he's having an incredible season but our incomptence of creating chances is holding him(the whole club) back. Whenever he doesn't score it's most likely because he didn't recieve one ball the whole match. If only we had some proper playmaker in the squad, he'd be on 25 goals already.

Trezeguet needs to bounce his ass off the couch and start scoring again, otherwise he will lose the 1st scorer spot and there will be talk of his possible replacements again.... :pumpkin:

poor trez even though he has been scoring i don't think he's had a great season he needs to be back soon or he'll be over taken in the charts

He knows exactly how vital he is to this team. Technically without him we would be one of the worst teams in serie a IMO. :rulz::bow:

some people always say that with Trez on the pitch it's like playing with 10 men because he contribues little besides scoring goals. in the last 2 matches however his presence has been badly missed. We are really in trouble without Trez.

I hope he makes it to for our next match.

Although it's not a new thing, but he repeated it again today:

Trezeguet tells court he nearly joined Barca in 2004

ROME, Feb 28 (Reuters) - David Trezeguet nearly joined Barcelona in 2004, the Juventus striker told a court on Thursday.

The Frenchman made the revelation while being questioned as a witness in the trial of six men accused of fostering unfair competition through the use of threats or violence as part of the Gea World sports management agency.

Luciano Moggi, the former Juve general manager who was banned from soccer for five years in Italy's match-fixing affair, is one of the defendants along with his son Alessandro and Davide Lippi, the son of ex-Italy and Juve coach Marcello.

Trezeguet said he had decided to remain at Juventus in 2004 after then Juve boss Fabio Capello persuaded him to stay.

"I had thought of leaving (Juve) at the end of 2004 for Barcelona but then Fabio Capello changed my mind and he told me on the telephone that he could resolve the issues between me and the club," Trezeguet was quoted as saying by ANSA news service.

Trezeguet also told the court that he had had a meeting with agent Alessandro Moggi at Juve's offices in 2002.

A host of top Italian football personalities, including England coach Capello and Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro, are expected to be called as witnesses during the trial.
