We Can Win The Scudetto – Trezeguet:flag2:
Juventus goal-machine David Trezeguet insists that Juventus still have a chance of winning the Scudetto this year.
The Bianconeri have had an excellent first-half to the season and currently sit in third place in the Serie A standings.
However despite their fine form, which has seen them go unbeaten since the end of October, Juve still trail league-leaders Inter by eight points.
This weekend the Bianconeri travel to Catania, knowing that a failure to win could end their championship hopes once and for all.
“We still believe in the Scudetto and so we have to go to Catania to win,” Trezeguet told Sky Sport Italia.
“We want to triumph in Sicily to continue on the right track that we were on before Christmas.
“We have had a good campaign so far and now we need to prove that we can do it on the road as well.”
However the Elephants will be by no means an easy task, as they recently defeated high-flying Udinese 2-0 at the Stadio Massimino.
“We know that this won’t be an easy game as Catania have been superb at home,” Trezegol added.
“At the moment we are happy in Malta [Juventus’ mid-season training camp]. We are expecting good crowds for the training sessions as well as Wednesday’s friendly.
“Since we arrived here we have been warmly received by the people of Malta and we are sure that lots of them will come to the stadium.”
