Trezeguet: 'I'm in Juve talks'
By Football Italia staff

David Trezeguet confirmed his retirement and he is currently in talks with Juventus to become club ambassador.

The striker spoke to French newspaper L’Equipe and said it was true he is hanging up his boots.

“Before going out to play in India, I had thought about moving on to the next step,” said Trez after a spell at Pune City FC.

He will be in Turin on Wednesday for a meeting with the club.

“The idea is to participate in the promotion of the club’s image in the world.”

He was a rare sight indeed. IMO he had like zero skill with the ball at his feet...less than Llorente on his worst day....but he had the most awkward and masterful way of finishing strikes.

Like the article said... most of his strikes looked like a kick from someone who has never played football..but oddily were very accurate and he was a master at getting goals out of nowhere...even some of those goals looked amateurish.... but no...he knew what he was doing...without a doubt.
If trez was like had zero skill with the ball and his shots were like someone who never played football then what would you describe inzaghi? pippo had everythibg half of trez lmao

Horrible but expected weekend for 2 football stars: Trezeguet and Riquelme. These players take with them the clinical finisher type of player(very rare to find these days) and the old kind of a number 10.

It's all about athleticism and wing play now. There are some old school number 10s around but none of them are really top class. Same goes for the old school number 9.

Merci David

Players are too crap at crossing in general to suit players like Trezeguet now, they all want to dribble the ball.

Apart from Padoin, but he is a god amongst men.

Inzaghi is underrated in this forum. The problem with him is that he played for Milan and people crap on him. But i rate him as a true fox in the box like Trezeguet, just with a gazzilion more offsides.
