A ninja edit no less! That is quite impressive. I'm not sure if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are hiring right now, but you'd definitely fit right in.

Seriously though, I know there are a few people* who dislike Trez, but I've always had the idea that that's only a small minority. Most Juve fans have always loved him, and rightfully so.

* Feel free to replace "people" by "dumb fools".
It was fast enough for you to miss it. :p

Even more seriously. I think there a few people that openly disliked him but there are a lot folks who disliked him, or better yet, his style of play, but didn't show it as much. There were too many of those "I love Trez, he's good at what he does, but we should cash in on him while we still can", year in and year out.

BTW, I appreciate all this love Trez is getting lately, but where the heck were you lot before? I feel like only myself, M, Dru, Hoori, Tahir, Buck and Boz were singing his praises. Now all of a sudden he's a confirmed legend in everyone's eyes. What he had to leave in order to get that recognition? Did someone say hypocrites?
If anyone from the post-Zidane era, Camo and Trez were the ones I had a soft spot for, but it was foolish to keep thinking that we should go on with them. In a perfect scenario we'd have bought great players in their places with them being sub players and doing a similar job to Giggs and Scholes. But it was pretty clear that something similar won't happen, and just like in Nedved's case, they need to go in order to buy another quality player to replace them.
That was what had to happen. In Camo's place it kinda happened (Although some things about the way Camo left leave a bitter taste in the mouth) but in Trezeguet's case it didn't. We sell him on the last days of the mercato and replace him with...nobody. If we bought Dzeko and sold Trez (with Trez's approval, of course, as it seems to be the case now), the reactions here would have been different too.

Aah yes, the age old cop out. Which you can obviously use for every player on the team at some time.

I have indeed read such things on this forum, so I guess you're right. I was talking more about personal experiences, other (groups of) Juve fans I've met. And it's not like he was ever really jeered or anything like that, unlike other players. That does tell you something.

Why are you acting like Cur & Jbf & echoing whats been said already? Also was i singing Molinaro's praises & ignoring Trez?

I think so too. But good thing is, he could haunt Maher in La Liga. :weee:
That would be fucking sweet! Just imagine Trez scoring a hattrick on one matchday & another against barca & real, which costs them the la liga.

Talk about killing two birds with one stone. Maher's backup teams, all fucked up.

I would have loved to joined the Trezeguet arguments here few months ago or last year, but I couldn't do it, was too busy with my enemies in the Dp's thread:D

On a serious note, only God and engongo knows how much I love the trio Nedved, Trezeguet and Il Capitano.

Bah, don't take to heart the names I mentioned. It was off the top of my head and doesn't matter really, point was I feel there are quite a few hypocrites here.
