a great poacher he is but given his age and his limited one dimensional play at only being able to shoot he should be one of the first to leave

i mean even pippo seems to run faster than him

ive been a stern supporter of trez for a decade now but please we need more than just a poacher in today's football

there are at least 30 strikers out there id pick before him and that has never been the case with a juve striker

at the rate were going our club will be finished far before trez will hang up his boots

what he should do is become a bargaining chip with bordeaux for us so we can get gourcoff and tremoulinas

His type is a dying breed no doubt about it, but selling him would be stupid. He was never a player of pace, sure he is yet more slower now, but a player of positioning, anticipation and finishing. He can still be a good striker for us because those things don't go away with age(Inzaghi being the example). Even in this shit of a season and after a year lay off practically, he is our top scorer.

Out of the trio we have Amauri, Iaquinta and him, starting him should be a no brainer. What we should is sell those two excuses for strikers and get a proper DP and perhaps Trez replacement.

i doubt amauri and iaq will be shown the door

id take amauri over trez any day and im sure im not the only one

trez is like nistilrooy..he should finish his career off as a starter for a club with the stature of hamburg

you really have a thing for david huh??

imagine how much more of a presence we would have had against siena last weekend for instance if amauri was playing instead of trez

trez should finish his career in france..were too good i hope to become a second ac milan like club whereby players dont leave until they need crutches

dont get me wrong though...i love trez but football has become a business and i just think that keeping him here with his wages is bad business especially by restricting the integration of a younger striker

I could have lived with the I'd take Amauri over Trez statement. But when you say he should finish his career in a club of stature like Hamburg...a man that's on his way to becoming the second ever goalscorer of this club should finish his career in Hamburg. :wallbang:

People like you should not support this club. Sorry, I don't have a "thing" for David, I just respect him for the player he was and is, and I do that even more so because of the ungrateful fans like you that show him no respect. You know, the kind that's ecstatic when he scores, yet call for him to be sold when he doesn't score for two games. They all hide under the veil "I like David, but he should be sold because of his age". I must be crazy but he's been getting old for over 5 years already, because every enf of season there are experts who claim "it's best we sell him this year, while we can".

But I'm glad David is banging in goals as usual, unlike your beast Amauri who hasn't scored in his career, what Trez has scored in a season.
