I'd say we are fine with Giovinco-DP-Diego rotating and Amauri and Iaquinta filling the striker spot. Give a chance to Daud or someone from Primavera in Coppa.
exactly. one if the reasons Gio didnt play much last season was that he couldn't compete with DP, trez, Amaur and iquenta.

allot of the fans seem to forget that gio real position is a second striker or treq. if trez leaves and we gen another striker (say rossi) then who will have priority rossi or Gio.

coarse gio can rotate with diego but again midfield is not his best position.

I hate to see trez go but this time the transfer seems like the sensible move for juve and trez who will get more playing time there.

I say we make an audacious attempt for the Hunter if Trez goes. Real should be shipping out plenty of players this summer.

we lose our best finisher if Trez leaves.....he is good for another season or 2 with us
but we played without him for a season and amauri (1st half of the season) and IQ (2nd half) stepped up to the plate. If we get a good deal we should sell him because he is no longer fundamental. I would love to see what he could do with diego feeding him though

huntelaar is a great option but he might not opt for us as he will be behind amauri. if he is put on sale there will be other sides were he will get a starting role

Yep sir, we'd lose our best finisher if so. Trez still is one of the best strikers even in the world. His injuries couldn't ruin his abilities. All he lacked during last season, was CHANCE!
I don't think Amauri or IQ deserve to be his replacement! Trez can amzingly head the ball. Furthermore His accuracy is alright ! Remember that no matter when we played with him on the bench, at least at half of the opportunities, when the ball was crossing the area,, there was nobody to head it n push it in...
His positioning is fantastic too.
But The problem is that he's slow. n I don't think Ciro will put his trust in him then. (unfortunately!)

I remember Trez agent said once,he still have the desire to win champion league ( he already have won WC,Euro,Serie A league, top scorer etc) so if he still has passion to win CL, he wont leave for club like lyon.he is not that old nor that bad to beg for a starting position in his home country !

U can not judge Trez for last year, ranieri didnt let him to fight after his return and show he is not finished.on those few games after his return he scored a correct goal in copa disallowed also i think in league,he scored one and that great asisst in chelsea game.the year before he scored 20.but even after all, losing trez for what? grosso? D'agostino which will be 28 next season ? 8 million euro ?

Sometimes i wonder, why those who left us in serie B were traitors, and those who stayed are old and we should sell them for better players !

By the way,Trez needs only 6 goals to reach Omar sivori record.

I love the short memories of the people on the forums...remember when he only put up 15 in Serie B and people thought he was past it. What happened? So he goes through an Injury...so what it wont stop his mind from being in good positions and as many people say that anyoone could score the goals from those spots then why do you doubt him now. His best attribute arent physical things like speed or long shot its his killer instinct and positioning.
