    Trezeguet: Adieu Juve

It’s open warfare between David Trezeguet and Juventus. “This club does not respect me. I will leave and take my 140 goals with me.”

The Frenchman is renegotiating his contract, which expires in 2008, but caused controversy during this afternoon’s 3-2 Serie B defeat to Spezia.

When scoring his 15th goal of the season, he celebrated with an offensive gesture to the President in the stands, making the Italian signal for ‘15’ and then ‘I’m out of here.’

“This club does not respect me. They made a proposal that made me understand they have already made other choices,” said Trezeguet to the Press after the Serie B trophy presentation.

Since joining in 2000, the former Monaco man has become Juve’s all-time top foreign scorer with 140 goals.

“I have done what Didier Deschamps asked of me: 15 goals. I was here for seven years and in that time earned the trust of over 14 million fans all over the world, plus the confidence of my teammates.

“Unfortunately, the club has a different viewpoint to mine, so I will leave and take my 140 goals with me, safe in the knowledge I have always given my contribution.

“There is no margin for negotiation now. If they had just told me I wasn’t wanted that would have been better than offering me a ridiculous contract. Perhaps someone has doubts over my abilities. I wanted to carry on with Juve, but the club doesn’t want me.”

This was a day of goodbyes at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin, as the Bianconeri celebrate winning the title and earning promotion, but there were emotional scenes with Trezeguet singled out for embraces and applause by his teammates.

“I am truly sorry for the fans and my companions, but I hope I earned a place for myself in this club’s history. I don’t know what will happen in the future, we will see.”

While Gianluigi Buffon only put pen to paper on a contract extension after Deschamps’ resignation, it seems that new Coach Claudio Ranieri does not require Trezeguet’s services.

There is a row brewing between Juventus and Inter, as the Bianconeri have announced they will not “repeat the Zlatan Ibrahimovic situation” by strengthening their direct rivals.

Juve general manager Jean Claude Blanc reacted angrily to Trezeguet’s actions and that offensive goal celebration.

“As a club we have never made an unacceptable proposal, we are just working to ensure the best for the Bianconeri,” said Blanc.

“We will speak with David. I just want to add that with players who are open to discussion like Buffon, negotiations are easy, but I don’t know how things will go when one door is so obviously closed. Talks should take place at the club, not across the newspapers.”
Alessandro Del Piero has been crowned Serie B Capocannoniere and dedicated the title trophy to “All those who believed in us, ran alongside us and never stopped even in the difficult times.”

The captain also reserved a moment to remember Alessio Ferramosca and Riccardo Neri, the two Juventus youth team players who tragically drowned at the Vinovo training ground earlier this season.

i still think that the gesture was a disgrace because it was so public but i kinda have a bit of sympathy for him especially if he was offered a crap deal to stay on, its a real shame and our board are absolute disgraces if this is the case.

i think that when he was left out of ranieris list of important players may have contributed to this gesture, i hope they know what they are doing because with out a goal scorer like trez in serie a next year we are screwed, and iaquinta is FAR from a goal scorer, we need a world class replacement, someone like henry, eto'o, van nistelrooy, shevchenko etc. a REAL goalscorer, these are the only players that can compare to trez in terms of goals and they are far beyond our reach.

    STUPID, STUPID BOARD!!!

Hitler was a leader, God forbid, he didn't do anything wrong. Pol Pot was a leader, how dare we say he was wrong. Capello was our coach, he knew best, how dared we question him.

    Salman, your logic is ridiculous.

And comparing our board to Hitler and Pot Pot is logical?Ive never had anything against Capello. He was tyrannical yes,but i have nothing against him.He got us two leagues though they were taken away but thats another issue.

Our board arent dictators. If they convinced Buffon to stay, who is MUCH more valuable, has been at the club for a lesser period than Trezeguet, and has more reason to leave than Trezeguet, then why wouldnt they want Trezeguet to stay?

I will side with the board and not Trezeguet.

According to new FIFA regulations (players who are 30 or turn 30 on that same year of their last term in a club), Trezeguet can buy out his own contract. Goodbye hefty transfer money.

    To Juve_26's questions :

1.leave Trezeguet gesture and tell me why DD left?
Because he and Secco didnt see eye to eye.Deschamps wanted players that had others clubs chasing them, clubs in better financial and footballing conditions, and their chances of joining us werent great.

2.why did they sell Ibrahimovic and Vieira to (Inter)? and forced the others to stay?

    That i do not know.

3.how they want to create great team when they want to sign Iaquinta?Who says Iaquinta will bring us glory single handeldy? And how many days has the mercato been open for?11 days.

4.why they want to sell Balzaretti when hes fighting for juve to win in every second of all the matches he played?
    Has he been sold?No.

5.why did they buy Boumsong when he had the worst season with Newcastle?
    Because Deschamps wanted him.

What our board should have done was giving same wages to all our stars. Why should Buffon get 5 mil and Trez 3.5 mil ?
Will these 1.5 mil ( 4.5 million for 3 years) mean so much to us ?

Read what Trez says : "If they had just told me I wasn’t wanted that would have been better than offering me a ridiculous contract."

He says a ridiculous contract has been offered to him. He was offered less money than he was getting so far.
    Is that really logical ?

Our board must appreciate all our stars the same because all of them are eqaully important to us.
Its clear they wanted Trez out and i blame them for that no matter who they bring as his replacement

    1. He was leaving last season when the club asked him to stay on. He did.
    2. He stayed and scored 15 fucking goals for us.
    3. I completely agree with everything Trezeguet has said thus far. Fact is, the management will do everything they can to keep the ones they want. And show no respect for those they dont.
    4. Seven fucking years of service from someone who would've been a monumental profile in our history, has been cut short by a bunch of no-gooders.
    5. 140 goals, he says he'll take with him. I'd include another 100 he would've easily have gotten in his future with us. A future he wanted by the way.
    6. Ranieri, Blanc and Gigli - we should've left them in Serie B.

    ----------------------------------

Blanc says that trez still has one year of contract and that it is not right to give such a message in this way. he says that trez know about the new juve project and he should have shown the right motivation just like buffon did..

    ------------------
I really agree with this.. I respect what Trez has done for juve.. BUT the way he shows his mind is a shame.. we are at juve and this is not juve style.
