I am so sad about Trezegol leaving :(...! The best ever...! He had the magic touch...! Always scored in crucial matches...! He'll be very hard indeed to replace...! Even Huntelaar will need time to adjust to the Italian league...! IF he ever arrives.....!!!!! That's a big BLOW....! F*ck Cabolli !!!!!!!!

Don't cry for me argentinaaaaaaa....the truth is WE NEVER LOVED YOU!!!

fekkin yess,now let's buy a football player
I have never been a real trez fan.. in a match when he is coverd well from defenders, it is like we play with one player less.. and this is often the case. He is surly not the best footballer, but we have to respect that he had scored alot for juve.. It is not the end of the world if he leaves, but we need a better replacement than Iaquinta

It’s open warfare between David Trezeguet and Juventus. “This club does not respect me. I will leave and take my goals with me.”

The Frenchman is renegotiating his contract, which expires in 2008, but caused controversy during this afternoon’s 3-2 Serie B defeat to Spezia.

When scoring his 15th goal of the season, he celebrated with an offensive gesture to the President in the stands, making the Italian signal for '15’ and then 'I’m out of here.’

“This club does not respect me. They made a proposal that made me understand they have already made other choices,” said Trezeguet to the Press after the Serie B trophy presentation.

Since joining in 2000, the former Monaco man has become Juve’s all-time top foreign scorer with 110 League goals in 182 games.

“I have done what Didier Deschamps asked of me: 15 goals. I was here for seven years and in that time earned the trust of over 14 million fans all over the world, plus the confidence of my teammates.

“Unfortunately, the club has a different viewpoint to mine, so I will leave and take my goals with me, safe in the knowledge I have always given my contribution.”

This was a day of goodbyes at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin, as the Bianconeri celebrate winning the title and earning promotion, but there were emotional scenes with Trezeguet singled out for embraces and applause by his teammates.

“I am truly sorry for the fans and my companions, but I hope I earned a place for myself in this club’s history. I don’t know what will happen in the future, we will see.”

While Gianluigi Buffon only put pen to paper on a contract extension after Deschamps’ resignation, it seems that new Coach Claudio Ranieri does not require Trezeguet’s services.

There is a row brewing between Juventus and Inter, as the Bianconeri have announced they will not “repeat the Zlatan Ibrahimovic situation” by strengthening their direct rivals.

Juve general manager Jean Claude Blanc reacted angrily to Trezeguet’s actions and that offensive goal celebration.

“As a club we have never made an unacceptable proposal, we are just working to ensure the best for the Bianconeri,” said Blanc.

“We will speak with David. I just want to add that with players who are open to discussion like Buffon, negotiations are easy, but I don’t know how things will go when one door is so obviously closed. Talks should take place at the club, not across the newspapers.”

Trez was and is a great player....but i think management wants to move towards youth and get the most money for future transfers, which means sell Trezeguet now. If we let him stay he will become a free transfer next year and Juve wont get any money from him. There are teams out there that are willing to pay 15 million Euros for him. Thats a lot of money to go towards someone who is younger and just as good....HOWEVER, this is where I will be the most upset about his departure, If they dont sign someone up to his capability and they piss away the money on average players, then yes we should be pissed at the board of directors. I know it sucks but its a fact of soccer management. Let wait and see who the board of directors are going after. Obviously Buffon was told about the plan and he liked it.

thats what i'm most afraid of this summer. we don't have any conceivable high prospects to sign IMO (of course disregarding all the BS rumors we hear everyday). i'm pretty sure that we are gonna sign a bunch of mediocre players but the loss will be greater than the gain at the end of the day.

i know its difficult to replace a player like trez but the money won't let us do much in terms of competing, just signing players and filling roster spots.
