Dominated who ever he was up against, put in some excellent blocks and really good passes. Played a massive part in the second by winning the ball back and playing a brilliant pass into McKennie to open them up.

I feel like he had a point to prove against his former employers. Outstanding performance today!
Begs the question though - where is the consistency? What's with these Brazillians dropping a 10/10 performance once a year (to get a contract renewal) and then fucking off for the rest of the season.
Sitting low suits him and duels are his strength. When we press high his high risk defending and inability to run quickly makes him a problem.
Fantastic game yesterday and a huge step forward. He can be used again but we need to deploy him when the game plan suits him. Shouldn't play against mid-/lower-tier but against teams we expect to defend low against. Glad for him and for us.
My two cents..yildiz and conceicao cut in a lot..need savona and cambiaso overlapping and supporting them more.
Danilo's issue is mental, not physical cuz if it was physical he wouldnt have owned city. If he can get it right between the ears....he will be important and be able to cover all areas of the business. I just dont think he starts if we have everyone fit and in form.
