Might have been because Savona was struggling with Kamara and looked knackered, and we needed Kalulu/Gatti's height to deal with Lucca.

It would be useful if Gil Puche turned out to be a good centre back option but I'd say it is too early to tell if Motta has given up on Danilo in the middle.
