yeah, we need fullbacks to provide this team with width in current formation. Cuadrado is becoming indispensable for this reason, hes constant menace down the right side. AS has been doing great job on the left as well. with Danilo in, we become too narrow and predictable upfront, with fewer options. The ball is passed constantly to the left and then to the middle, rinse and repeat...

He's alright if he is only going to play 30% of games behind Cuadrado. But his versatility suggests he'll play more like 50%, which is handy to give AS a breather.

Danilo: 'Juve want to crush rivals'
By Football Italia staff

Danilo has warned Juventus want to “crush” their rivals under Maurizio Sarri but that “it takes time”.
Juve remain unbeaten under Sarri, winning 13 of their 16 games so far this season, but the former Chelsea and Napoli boss is also aiming to implement more of a passing-pressing style in Turin.
He wants to change Juventus, but it’s not simple and it takes time,” Danilo, who previously played for Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, told Sky Sport Italia.
“Sarri wants to propose a new system, whereby we crush our opponents. He reminds me of Guardiola.
When he arrived at City, it took two years before the team understood their style of play.”
The right-back was also asked about Cristiano Ronaldo, who put an alleged knee injury behind him to star for Portugal during the international break.
“He’s incredible, he always manages to be 100 percent focused. When he’s with his national team, he only thinks about Portugal.
“Then he returns and is immediately ready for the next game.”

LOL at the thought of Sarri being here for two years.

its a stupid comparison especially when you consider guardiola had a billion dollars to spend on exaclty the players he needed to tailor make City where in Sarri is trying to play Sarriball while he has no say over the transfer market, gets freebie CMs he isnt interested in playing, has 1 1/2 wingers, matuidi and khedira are still starting. dont forget the cherry on top, if mgmt had their way Dybala Lolkaku swap wouldve been in the mix too.

my. fucking. god.

What is Ronaldo now the goat of international football as well?

At the Euros he was abysmal apart from two games (in which he was great), had an insanely easy run to the final and his team won the final without him against the tourney's best team. Along with that he doesn't even have a WC KO goal and til the last edition he only had 2 goals in 3 world cups. Now don't get me wrong he's had a very good international career and had some great tourneys such as Euro 2012 and all time great moments such as his hattrick against Sweden. However, it's getting to the point where people are overrating his international resume. He is not on Maradona, Pele, Cruyff, Platini, R9, Zidane etc's level when it comes to international football. Though he is at the very least at the bench of that bunch's level if not better than each and every one of them as a player.

And before anyone brings up some Messi bullshit. This has nothing to do with that bitch. Ronaldo has clearly had a far superior international career to Messi who has choked an incomparable amount of times at the biggest stage in international football. He'd have to win a WC or a couple of Copas to reach CR7's level.
