His play time in City doesn't imply anything.

He was very good for us, apart from 3 or 4 bad games that his recklessness cost us goals he was reliable and productive.

Cancelo seemed like the only wingback that could spot Ronaldo with his crosses, granted he's poor in defending and maybe a tad worse than Danilo but really not that bad. Overall cancelo is better than danilo, selling and buying were both mistakes on paper and pitch. Off the pitch, selling cancelo was the right decision.
