Benfica and Porto are the best possible destinations for young Brazilians, truth be told. They'll play as domestic players, won't have any language problems, always going to have 10+ compatriots and they'll launch them properly and sell them to the top clubs.

You move from geriatrics department (and now we have become one) to Samba magic, that's a good way to go, but I don't think you'll get this dude :D

It's just Porto. Porto and Santos made some bank's relationship this week and now it's being speculated that Porto is getting Danilo and Alex Sandro (LB) for 20M. I guess it's the first time I watch them getting raped. :touched:

Rui Costa denied Benfica's interest in that mofo. Plus, we already got Witsel, so he's not needed now! :)

Porto and Benfica are owning mercatos every single year with very well selected SA players, mostly Brazilians.
That's because in many instances they only buy a portion of the players contract, making them affordable. The rest is owned by third parties.

This practice is prohibited in England as a result of all the trouble the Tevez and Mascherano deals caused when they initially moved to the Prem.

This is why clubs in Portugal demand high fees for their players. They need to jack up the price to make a worth while profit since a large percentahe of the transfer fee is not going to the club.

This is why Portuguese clubs sign many South Americans. Their league accepts third party ownership and this gives them a unique advantage over many other leagues in Europe.
