Last years we’ve won a lot of matches with Rugani, but tonight we’ve learned again the Rugani isn’t the player who stands up when it becomes to difficult. Neither does Bonucci btw. Had the same feeling in the CL last year with him. Don’t blame him for a personal mistake, more the attitude the he seems scared when things get dirty.

If it was up to me I'd get rid of Rugani and Bonbon. Bring Romero back.

Demiral-De Ligt starting and Chiellini and Romero backing them up is enough IMO.

That's a good point. I don't think Bonucci or Rugani fit well together. Their stand offish defensive styles are too similar. Both need a physical defender with a presence alongside them to truly perform at their highest capability.

Actually Rugain might as well stay. BonBon is the dickhead that needs to go. Those brainfarts of his aren't going away, his concentration levels are absurdly low for a 30+ year old CB with 10+ titles. Make Pep happy this summer and sell him BonBon.

Let's see how he can combine with MDL or Demiral. Especially the turk. I have a feeling Rugani would be a much better sweeper, cause yesterday he was our best cb.

Personally I blame Sarri more for Rugani performance than the player himself. He hasn't played a competitive game in half a year and Maurice threw him under the bus. Having five subs per game he didn't give him any minutes even during the games we were comfortably winning.
