He was terrible, no getting away from that.

But might have been a good idea to give him some minutes e.g. when we were coasting 4-0 v 10 man Lecce or 4-1 v Torino given he is our only backup CB and De Ligt was carrying a yellow.

His last minutes were against Spal in february. Sarri should had give him some minutes to get in form.

Last years we’ve won a lot of matches with Rugani, but tonight we’ve learned again the Rugani isn’t the player who stands up when it becomes to difficult. Neither does Bonucci btw. Had the same feeling in the CL last year with him. Don’t blame him for a personal mistake, more the attitude the he seems scared when things get dirty.

Remember when I said we needed another CB?

This is why. When injuries and suspensions happen we have good depth to fall back on.

At least he is one who care when Ronaldo lost the ball in midfield in 3rd goal. Tackle Rebic then chase Leao. Where are the other guys, Jogging.

The 4th goal is all because Sandro, Yes he couldnt block it, but the situation shouldnt happened.

The 1st goal is Bonucci stupidity

2nd goal also more Bonucci who got confused. I see he pick and mark Rebic

He is not good enough but He isnt to be blamed

Actually Rugain might as well stay. BonBon is the dickhead that needs to go. Those brainfarts of his aren't going away, his concentration levels are absurdly low for a 30+ year old CB with 10+ titles. Make Pep happy this summer and sell him BonBon.

Let's see how he can combine with MDL or Demiral. Especially the turk. I have a feeling Rugani would be a much better sweeper, cause yesterday he was our best cb.
