Dani Alves who started every CL match he was available for and was a full-time starter in all comps aside from his 6-7 weeks out with a fibula fracture. He “didn’t play enough.” :lol2:

That Dani Alves who had 6 goals - 7 assists that season in ~2600 minutes, his best attacking output since 2011-12 season, and best goalscoring season of his entire career, didn’t get to attack. Lol

Ahh yes, what a terrible season that was for Juve, Dru. You trying to become Loin 2.0?

Jj pans triggered too easily fren

Management isn't questioned when they bring in players who don't fit the profile of the tactical approach. There are several examples of this, but no. Time to point all weapons at the player bc he speaks his own truth.

His own truth, like the deluded snowflakes in their safe spaces. :baus:

He’s full of shit and in this particular instance you are wrong. He was a free signing and had a great season here, his best season in 5 years, and was a big part of why we played in the CL final that year. He fit the tactics we used that season just fine.

Now, if you’re talking a mistake in that he was an older player and wasn’t a long term signing you could make that argument.

I am not sure I am following the reasoning here. This isn't some amateur or inexperienced player or a pundit talking about someone else, if he says he didnt tactically fit well with the team he is probably right. He may have had a good season in numbers because Alves is an all time great in this position but its hard to doubt his take its from the guy himself.

Players may sugar coat their time at a club or how important they were, or shift blame of a personal failure thats believable, but its hard to argue they'd downplay and undervalue their impact. Alves isn't exactly known for great humility.

Don't believe Alves he doesn't know anything. Allegroids know better than the man himself.
