I get this feeling that he’ll extend Vlahovic on 5-6mi before his deal runs off..
If Dusan keeps up his form we'd be fools not to renew for that price. Acceptable salary and 0 book value so any sale would be plusvuvuzela
If a renewal is still completely off the table i wouldn’t rule out a January exit either, there might be other more desperate teams in need of a ST by then ready to pay us a low discounted fee for him.

Why would Dusan accept cutting his wages in half?
does he have a choice though

this season he'll earn 12m, he's got a contract, it is what it is. but next season he'll have to negotiate a new contract, and i don't see too many clubs paying over 6m for his services. outside of saudi arabia, that is

i have a feeling that marotta will snatch him though. we'll see in a few months i guess

If he signs a precontract deal with another Italian club we 100% freeze him out

Because this summer's market should have proven to him that any idea of increasing his wages are nonsensical.

His current wages are an overpay and good for him for getting them but a new contract brings a new evaluation of his value and other clubs UNIFORMEDLY balked at his wage demands. Except Saudi Arabia, which he refused. I don't know how much that changes with him available on a free.

I liken this transfer window to be very much like Manchester United transfer window. We brought in some attacking options. Great they may or may not work out. David doesn’t look great thus far. Not sure what Openda is gonna be like and we are relying on a player we want to sell. Meanwhile, we are still lacking at probably our biggest issue over the past several years which we have not addressed once again which is the central midfield we like creativity it’s completely obvious. Locatelli is not working. Koopmeiners is not working. And then we’re also playing a system that we’re not suited for because we do not have world class wingbacks. So yeah even our our transfer window looks like United. Our system looks like Manchester United and I think our disappointment is gonna be like Manchester United.
I think midfield is gonna be a huge difference maker this season.

Inda and Napoli already have pretty strong midfields. Milan strengthened their midfield pretty significantly, the upgrade was pretty massive and they added experience too. Ours is behind all these clubs.

Poop and Suckatelli could make or break our season.
