We have another new management in place. It's not even fully there and we've barely spent a penny this summer. So as far as I'm concerned it's completely different to last season.

We've brought David on a Bosman, JM in a profitable swap seal and paid a hefty fee for Conceicao only.

Everybody agrees we've overspent for Nico, Kelly and Koop, I guess. DL probably too but he was great in the Prem 'tho. Cabal was pretty good value for money imo, too bad he got injured.

We have a crazy rich owner 'tho and he has pumped in a lot of money already too. But the mismanagement ruined it.
And we will have a new SD next year again and in two years Comolli and co will be fired and we start in year zero again.

But our squad was weak all big money transfers failed last year and yet we didn’t improve the squad this summer. Even though everyone told me how great our finances are now.

Cabal was shaky as fuck before getting injured.
But fine let’s stop it here. We can’t change the fact and I’m glad I don’t have to endure it anymore

See that, my friend, is what I call whining. Don't create problems that aren't there (yet).

"Isn't it better to exist thinking you're gonna be fine and then when it's not fine, fucking handle it then."

We didn't improve much on paper ('tho David and JM have started well and having Bremer back is massive ofc) but our ceiling was def higher than we showed last season under Motta. Hopefully some players improve because they feel better in a less hostile environment and because they've matured and gelled better together. That remains to be seen ofc but is not unthinkable either.

Cabal was improving every game 'till he got injured imo. Don't know if he'll bring much to the table this season. He's still not fully fit.

Who (everyone?) told you how great our finances are, lol? Didn't see anyone saying that shit.

The Agnelli family should buy a team outside of Italy, like in France, and use it to support Juve. Instead of losing our youngsters for cheap, we could sell them to that team for a better price, while still keeping ownership of the players. That way, Juve’s financial issues would be easier to manage, and we’d benefit from player development, kind of like what Chelsea’s ownership is doing.

Sounds like we're broke.
who would have thought that a club that needed multiple cash injections, has huge debt in the books, had multiple years in a row with a budget in the red, found difficulties getting rid of players on huge and unaffordable contracts, and had a huge and unjustifiable penalty that resulted in a loss of ~150m suffered financial impacts, right?

i don't like comolli so far. he doesn't come across as a football guy. i wonder whether he even watches games. but from a management point of view, i get what he's trying to achieve: financial stability. it's extremely difficult when you also have a spoiled fan base that wants instant results

it's not year zero, it's like year -2 if we're lucky and his signings work. and of course next gen is still our best bet for finding affordable talent. then again, he's selling savona. we'll see whether he's the next caldara or huijsen. i guess he's somewhere in between

We had some discussions with psg but it didn’t go any further. I don’t know how it will end. A lot of things can happen until Monday. (About Kolo Muani)

We must pay close attention regarding to our financial situation especially because of financial fair play. We know that we are in difficulty for the season 25/26 and especially 26/27 which means every euro counts in what we do therefore we must be careful.
Randal or other high level strikers cost a lot of money.
We already have two really good ones.Dusan Vlahovic will stay with us at the contrary of what the media was saying and we are extremely happy to have signed Jonathan David from Lille, on top he was a free transfer. With these two we are already happy of what we have

but i was told by you, juvejay and others that the fees for Di gregorio, djalo, milik and kelly didn't matter?

You call it whining I call it pattern recognition.

Jj didn’t improve at all - David replaced Kolo and JM replaced costa. While we sold some young back ups to welcome back players like Kostic.

I give you Bremer but Jj are one Thurman Bremer Yildiz injury away from being conference league level.

You did - but nevermind it’s all great and Jj will win 4th place again and y’all be happy.

4th place is a dream. Best is conference league finish.

There are 5 teams stronger than juve

It's more like looking in a salad bowl and thinking it's predicting the future. Or did you predict we'd win the Scudetto in 2011?
The SD isn't even here yet and you "know" he'll be fired, lolz.

Kolo ain't gone yet. He might or might not come back. If he doesn't, it would be a massive failure as I have been saying for weeks now and then I'd probably agree chances of us improving are slim to none

Let go of some backups? Yep. Probably only one of them would've been used in this formation 'tho. There's no space for a winger like Mbangula with Tudor (he was barely used last season when Tudor came in), Savona was our 7th choice CB and Costa, well he'd be behind Weah or the other way around if you like.

Haha, I never said that our finances were all good, you little funny man. I did think we'd be better off next season 'tho but apparently we're not...;

And therefor 4th place is by far the most important achievement once again if/when Scudetto hopes will be gone. Same story as last season; we'll be seriously fucked if we don't even get to that minimum requirement.

At least he cleared the air a bit and basically told us that nobody else is joining other than some last moment panic buy opportunity if it maybe pops up… either that or he is forcing the hand of teams interested in buying Nico and Vlahovic to step it up faster so that we can make our own moves, which i think we’re already quite late for that and in truth he just wanted to be frank about it and not sell to fans more false hopes in this last days.

What mismanagement? Everyone was doing great according to you
No they weren't eg. the overspending. Still missing the difference, I see :marc:

I did/do think Giuntoli brought in some good players too 'tho. That has been discussed in lengths and is visible in this team too. We only really had to ship out DL.

The biggest mismanagement we're hugely paying for is the one from before his tenure. Arthur and Vlahovic eg.

Me? This is between you and Robee from last year. Take it up with him. When you guys work it out and then come to me ant the whole forum with your opinions
Try and use an arguement of yourself for once. I'm still waiting?

I was happy with a lot of what Giuntoli was doing except for a lot of overspending but got fed up with him overinvesting in Motta and his toxic behaviour towards players like Chiesa and Danilo (apart from Huijsen-Kelly and the obvious problems that we're in). I'm pretty fine with that assessment.

It's black n white forum. If something is not great, then it has to be terrible.
